Yeh I read up on it just before reading your post. Well I have now found through some cleaver CMD reading that my launcher is looking for java in programs x86.... that cant surely be right! can I change where it looks?

Thanks maybe I did somthing wrong when I tried that... It wanted to open as a .RAR!

Ok so I have done that all now... and its still not working. I have completly uninstalled my antivirus and re added the launcher to my exceptions list and I am still having issues. What else have you got.

I have had a lot of trouble using the .EXE for the technic installer... I cant find an install guide for using the .Jar version anywhere! curiously the file wants to open as a .RAR file. Any links or help would be awsome Thanks in advance

I have tried several times to run the launcher and it just dosnt do what It should It downloads like it should and then nothing. Can I please have a fix or a work around. Some instructions on how to use the .JAR Version should be enough. Thanks for any help!
