Looking for a possible partner. I live in Norway (I've lived in America, I'm fluent in english), and only 13, but I consider myself better than most with Tekkit. I'm a redpower enthusiast, I've built multiple frame quarries and HV factories within days of starting on servers. If your a person who relies on their Buildcraft Quarries, I'm not the one your looking for. I know my way around most mods, although I haven't experimented much with Railcraft and I don't know LUA. As long as the chunk the lamp is in is loaded and visible, I don't think there is anything you can do to make the light show from further off.

Serious? Programming it isn't that hard, depending on what your going to make it do. Start by making an API that controls each motor (Cardinal directions, up and down) and any weapons/other things that you might add on. From there you can simply give it commands in succession to operate it. I myself have built multiple omnidirectional engines, most of them being for quarries. For a quarry, once you finish the API you write a program telling the computer to 'Mineblocks, moveborehead, mineblocks, movedown, repeat' (you get the point). It's simpler than it may seem :)
