Kr0nZ got a reaction from Devin McGhee in Questions about Broadcasting to twitch.
Do you mean the broadcasting option included within vanilla minecraft?

If so, its only included in the most recent 1.7.x's, there are some mods for 1.7.x but I dont think any official modpacks have been released yet.

if you want to twitch broadcast then use one of the programs Munaus recommended

Kr0nZ got a reaction from Kalbintion in duplication bugs to be aware of...
I figured out how to blacklist it, I was close with one of the names I tried before.
I remembered that the '/cofh killall .' command will give the entity name of the entity it removed. Running the command after spawning in a luggage told me the entity name was 'OpenBlocks.Luggage'

So I edited the config file "config/powercrystals/minefactoryreloaded/common.cfg" to read:
    # A comma-separated list of entity IDs (e.g.: CaveSpider,VillagerGolem, butterflyGE) to blacklist from the AutoSpawner. S:AutoSpawner.Blacklist=OpenBlocks.Luggage Now the autospawner wont spawn luggage. This should probably be added by default in the modpack before next release.

Kr0nZ got a reaction from Felonious68 in A Few Comments on Ore Generation Balancing
IMO the ore gen needs to be toned down a bit. Its way overpowered, just digging a single staircase down and mining the ores on the walls I was able to get a stack of diamonds, tons of copper / tin / iron / aluminium and about a half stack of lapis all before hitting level 30. Lapis is definitely more common than default ore gen. Didnt see any Ferrous ore, but that has always been difficult to find.

I hope they release a 'normal' ore gen config eventually, I've already changed it for myself, but would be nice to get an official one.

Kr0nZ got a reaction from DoxNotch in How to obtain monster spawners?
Witch spawners do spawn naturally around the map.
The PortaSpawner from MFR can pick up spawners, and I think the block teleported from random things can also move spawners.

Kr0nZ got a reaction from eladd in Need help setting up a server
These are the exact steps I use to setup my MCPC+ server..
I just did this again today to upgrade to 1.09b.
I do it like this because I like to keep my server folder as clean as possible.
Some of these steps could probably be merged, but I do it like this to help track down potential problems.

    1. Make a Fresh folder and put the MCPC+ jar file inside of it. (Put nothing else in the folder, except for this one jar file, for now.)

    2. Run the file using the command:
java -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -XX:PermSize=256m -jar mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B250.jar nogui 3. It will now download all required files and make all required folders.

    4. Once it completes (after the "Preparing spawn area" messages, and after the message "done" is displayed)
Type 'stop' to stop the server.

    5. Now, delete the world folder (Do this even if you plan to create a new world for this server)

    6. Download the server files for the modpack, and extract to a separate folder.

    7. From the folder you extracted the modpack server files to,
Copy the file 'server.properties' and the folders 'mods' and 'config',
Paste these 3 files and folders into the MCPC server folder.
(You could also just copy the mods folder and config folder from you own client,
but make sure not to copy any client only mods (I dont think there are any in AotBT though)
you will also need the server.properties file from the modpacks server files package)

    8. If you have a world folder from a previous instance, copy that into the MCPC folder now,
make sure the 'level-name' in the server.properties matches the name of the world folder.
If you dont have a previous world, dont worry about it one will now be created when you start the server.

    9. If you plan on using any bukkit plugins put them into the 'plugins' folder

    10. Again start the server with:
java -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -XX:PermSize=256m -jar mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B250.jar nogui 11. Now the server should start, give it a minutes or so, its has a lot of mods to load.

Once messages stop being displayed test everything by trying to login.

Kr0nZ got a reaction from arriej in KEEPS CRASHING - Please heeelp :(
Its caused by the crayfish furniture mod oven, you need to remove the oven.

if you go into the .technic/modpacks/attack-of-the-bteam/config folder
open up the cfm.cfg file, then find the line that reads

    and change it to

save the file, then start up your world and the oven should be removed

Kr0nZ got a reaction from matt8348 in World deleted! HELP!!!
    Try this:
backup your world, from the save folder, somewhere then create a new world with the same name as your old one, when you start this new world it might put you back into your old save game. If it doesn't go back into your save game folder, open up the world folder for the world you just created and replace the level.dat with the one from your old world that your backed up.

Kr0nZ got a reaction from arriej in Unexpected exception error Attack of the B-team
The crash is caused by the furniture mod oven.
Go into the mods folder then to the config folder,
open up the cfm.cfg file and change the line:
    I:BlockOven=854 to
I:BlockOven= Which should delete the oven from you world the next time you load it,
otherwise you will have to open up your map in mcedit and remove the block manually.

Kr0nZ got a reaction from AcesOyster in Tinker's Construct Smeltery Controller Broken
I dont think the smeltery was ever intended to store stuff, I always cringe when I see youtubers doing this.

As AcesOyster suggested, when you finished using the smelter always empty it with either the casting basin or a ingot cast.

If you do insist on keeping liquid metals on hand, then store them in a tank

You might be having problems with NEI's recipe mode because you probably have it in 'cheat mode' still (thats its default mode IIRC). When you are on your inventory page with NEI showing, click options in the lower left corner then click inventory and change 'cheat mode' to 'recipe mode', now whenever you click on an item in the NEI browser the recipe will show and left clicking will show what recipes the item is used in

You can also show recipes (in cheat mode) by hovering over an item and pressing 'r' or pressing 'u' to show what recipes its used in.

You can also search NEI using the box that below your normal inventory GUI.

Also the author of Optifine doesn't allow the mod to be included in modpacks, so if you need it then you have to install it yourself.

Tree Cap make things too easy IMO
