  1. the good news is from your and LukeB28's guidance I was able to figure out how to make a pack successfully! the bad news is my litldud of a brother can't be bothered to play with me thank you for your help XD
  2. in your guide you say to download another modpack that is the same version as the one you want to make and swap in the modpack.jar. unfortunately, I couldn't find any 1.7 modpacks (although I did find someone who made a 1.6.4 and labelled it as 1.7 lol). what do? many thanks, the nubbest of yugs
  3. whats this about manual install? making a modpack for me and my litl bro, if there was a way to host the file from a shared folder on LAN that would be ideal. very new to this stuff and the modpack is going to need a lot of testing and config.
  4. oh. I guess I didn't realize that my presentation of the request made more work instead of less. What would be the ideal way to structure my request? Should I assemble a list of mods for 1.7? We found a list of mods on 1.7 and found a baker's dozen that we would like. **edit** was 13, litldud eliminated 2. baker's dozen is no longer accurate **update edit** following Luke's and other guides, might come back with questions though
  5. Hello! I know you guys are probably tired of hearing scrubs beg for you to make them modpacks but at least hear me out. I've been playing minecraft since 1.3-ish with my little bro (litldud) and we have tried multiple times to mod it since then. We've watched and guides, but the only successes we've had have been textures packs and technic. I just want to roam around with airships and he just wants to crawl dungeons and kill shit. My luck at getting shit to work on the computer is a bit strange. I can mount iso's, derp around with emulators, and even set up new OS's. Yet print 'hello world' failed to parse when I tried python. The guides all say it should be drag and drop, while paying attention to dependencies, but we just get failsauce. We really just want: +airships +dungeons +better village®s [millenaire preferred but beggars can't be choosers] Bonus points for: +chocobos +alchemy stuffs +tree capacitator +minimap +other utility mods As long as the modpack is playable in LAN we aren't really concerned what version its in. cute derpernaut for reading '>
