I mean the launcher, sorry bout that

So I got my new pc as my old one died, I downloaded Minecraft with no problem and go to install tekkit launcher and it wont start, not even pop up and there is no file installed from it. I have a Nvidia Gforce 960, 6 gigs of ram and a Intel core i5 if that can help I am quite mad about this and would like help if there is any.
