  1. I know this is an old post, but i would try pumping from a tank into a flood gate which will dispense lava above a deployer with empty buckets inside, add a redstone clock to automate the deployer, then extract the buckets out of the deployer?
  2. I recently constructed a max size 32x32x32 Big Battery (cause why not) and I have some obsevations. Storage is dependant on electrolyte volume. The battery will store 150 million rf per bucket of sulfurous acid contained in the battery. My max size battery can store over 4 trillion rf [((30x30)-4)*30)*150 million]. Input and output from an electrode requires the electrode to have contact with the electrolyte. For each face of an electrode block in contact with electrolyte you can transfer 2500 rf/t. In my max sized battery it maxes out at 300,000 rf/t. To set a power tap to accept energy you must both, set it to +ve, and click on it to increase the transfer rate as the default is set to 0 rf/t. Te extract energy from a power tap, you must set it to -ve and click on it to increase the transfer rate.
  3. You need to power it with RF. Sterling generator, geothermal generator, or hobbyists steam engine are all sort of beginner power options. My personal favorite is a engineers toolbox set up with a solar panel on top, and energy output on the side of a modular socket, with glowstone above to provide day and night time power. You can scale all of these up with additional kinesis pipes.
  4. Looking for some help regarding running a liquid fired High pressure steam boiler connected to a railcraft steel tank. This system will then power a Big Reactors steam turbine. What I am trying to do is store fuel (creosote) in a steel tank until it is full or nearly full and then send a redstone signal into an RS-Latch to begin to pump fluid out of the tank until the tank is completely drained, then have a second signal into the RS-Latch to stop the pumping. Anyone know how to get a redstone signal from a railcraft tank when full or nearly so and when empty?
