I tried all of them for 1.12.2.

Updating forge and optifine did not work, which was what I got out of that thread...what else can I try?

All I asked was for some clear instructions. I DID entitle this thing with 'Stupid'....

In regards to hiding the log as a spoiler, or fixing my modpack? I will have to explain why my brain doesn't work properly...I have ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have no idea as to what you are trying to hint at, or even if there is a hint at all. I don't understand logs...that big block of text, numbers and links just shuts my brain down. I have no idea what any of it means. All I ask is for someone to point out where I'm going wrong and how to fix it, that's it. If i try to learn it myself, my brain will overload...that's never fun.

I am having a problem with a modpack I made just for myself to play with. I have made packs before and they seemed to work fine, but this is a new one on 1.12.2. I have no idea why it won't work... The first try merely loaded up Vanilla, and it took me a while to figure out, possibly, that the 'modpack.jar' I thought I had was actually 'modpack.jar.jar' So that was fixed, now, I try to start the pack, and it does the loading on the Technic launcher, the launcher window vanishes for a minute then returns, with no game being started. I have no clue what I'm doing at this point and would appreciate some step by step help that I can easily follow.

Thank you, and I have looked at these instructions, but I am unsure of what steps 2 and 3 mean exactly...How am I to know what kind I need? Which of many versions is better? Do I match the mods to these files, or make the pack then download these files to match the mods? Also how can I tell what a client only mod is? And where exactly do I put all these once I have them figured out? As I said, I'm none too intelligent when it comes to this kind of thing...when I've got it, I've got it, when I don't have it, my brain is a jumbled mess and I make mistakes.

Hello. I would very much like to create a modpack and start a server. The modpack is the easy part. I have no idea of how to start a multiplayer server, however, and I am not that technically minded. I also have Aspergers syndrome with a learning disability. If someone could kindly provide step by step instructions on how to create a multiplayer server people can use with the modpack I wish to make, that is clear and easy to follow, I would be very grateful.

My daughter is now having the same problem with Technic. She starts a world, leaves, then comes back on and it crashes back to the launch page. Also server error. Can someone please help us.

If you have a wireless keyboard, it may need recalibrating to the tether in your computer, other than that I'm afraid I can't help.

Yesterday, I was using my own personal modpack, and it was working just fine. No problems at all. I decided to get rid of a rather useless mod, 'Birdsnest' since I didn't need the items it gave me. So I close my game, close the Technic launcher, remove the mod and went to bed. Get up this morning, find a new mod I want, add it to my modpack and start Technic. Load my pack, get to the title screen, choose 'Singleplayer' and try to load my saved world. All is going well until the world pops into view and promptly vanishes as it crashes. It's not the new mod....I removed that before trying again a few times, then I loaded up a NEW world, which worked just fine. I checked my crash logs (please note I'm an absolute dumbass when it comes to reading those things, I have no idea what they mean) and saw that all the other crashes had something to do with the client, probably mods that didn't work. This one had 'server' instead of 'client'. What's going on with this? Have I lost my old world? Or can it be saved? Just downloaded this new fangled thing today and other than installing Pixelmon, I have no idea where to find the other mods I prefer to have...looking for ones similar to WAILA, Dynamic Lights, a decent minimap, inventory tweaks and scenter for 1.10.2 Can anyone help me?
