thanks i had tried with a zip file previously but what i didnt try was set the compression method to best and that seemed to do the trick

ok so im trying to do my custom modpack so i can share with my friends but it always fails to download. this is my dropbox link im using: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ie28h60906qxu52/modpack.rar?dl=1 it gets to 99% the tries again 2 more times and then gives me the error message. any and all help is appreciated and an other thing if i search for my modpack on the launcher i cant find it i need to copy and paste the modpack url thingy >: http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/mystthaumcraft
