I can't believe nobody brought this up yet. so I'll just leave this here. (It's especially funny because of all those 'bla bla the governement' people. Legally speaking, right now, it is not allowed for countries to own planets. They agreed to it. The reason NASA is so 'meh' nowadays is because private companies are starting to take over. As they should.) http://mars-one.com/en/

Does anyone know what the Transporter 'Support' in Tekkit 3.1.2 is? Is the plugin included in the server jar? (Doesn't look like it) Did the client get patched to do seemless transporting (I thought that needed a proxy running serverside and that no current proxy is fully compatible with recent minecraft builds (not even 1.2) I've run it on CraftBukkit before using craftproxy, but that needs users to run a jar and setup the actual server in there and connect to their own localhost etc. So I'm just wondering what they mean by 'support'. If anyone knows just what it is that was done, what files are changed and where I can have a look at them, I would much appreciate it. Edit: I did find 1 post about Transporter, but that's about purely local issues as far as I can tell. I am talking about the inter-server stuff specifically.

That'll teach me not to check for so long. Thanks (I'm guessing this was/is on purpose? After all they'd have to fix this themselves trying to compile... maybe it's to prevent noobs from doing it) Ah well, I can finally put tekkit into the gentoo package manager (through an overlay), yay!

Transporter 'Support' in 1.2.5?
ChrysWhyte replied to ChrysWhyte's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Yeah, but it would work regardless, tekkit just uses mcpc builds. I'm guessing this thread is just gonna get lost in the noise of the forum, oh well. Maybe I'll try in server admin forum later. -

[3.0.3/3.0.4] Machine Block Orientation in tekkit 3.0.3
ChrysWhyte replied to thebad300's question in Tekkit Classic
Go to the link I gave you This is where the tekkit.jar comes from too, they just rename it. get craftbukkit-1.2.5-R4.1-MCPC-SNAPSHOT-173.jar, rename it to Tekkit.jar, replace the one that you have in your server. You now have the latest version. The tekkit team does not do any coding or 'developing'. They just throw a bunch of existing stuff together. -

ChrysWhyte replied to thebad300's question in Tekkit Classic
You asked about the updates, and wondered why tekkit team didn't do it. I gave you a link. I do not work for you or them, I am not here to solve your problems for you. This response was more of a 'here's a helpful hint'. Take your rude attitude and stuff it somewhere. Maybe next time try asking 'how do I do that' instead of this uncalled for BS. -

Feel free to update your bukkit yourself in case you didn't know. You can find them here: https://github.com/MinecraftPortCentral/CraftBukkit/downloads I believe 3.0.4 is build 93 or something -
Which one is it?

Patch for EE mining tools - no more griefing with them!

Any chance Viderizer's fixes can be ported as well? -

This also seems to have been fixed in the -r2 bukkit port. (Tekkit 3.0.3 uses an old port) Do you have any idea if that is the only bugfix in there? If there's more I'd want the best of both worlds obviously. -
So basically: http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/documentation/ Spacetoad (assumption) was trying to SELL copies of documentation for 2.x.x I dunno if anyone else was aware of this. The link seems to be dead now. Still gave me a chuckle.
