It's more than just a bug... the mirror. links don't work and if you remove the "mirror." from the link you don't get the newest version. I've re-downloaded it a few times and even thought the main site displays a link for 5.4.6, the download is 5.4.4 The version doesn't bother me so much, I'm sure the updater function will kick in eventually, but the not connecting to minecraft.net issue is the current one I hope gets fixed soon. (I know you guys are working on it)

Lucky is correct.. it's just the launcher that doesn't show the head of the skin... new error/bug that I'm getting now is even though the config files are set to open with notepad, clicking on the mod option button does nothing.

Exe hasn't been working for me lately, but using the jar works just fine (just extra info) When the launcher... well.. launches, the head on my skin doesn't show.. it's just a white block. I used the skin editor for minecraf (can't remember the name of it)... and was wondering what I should use to re-edit the skin to allow it to show in the launcher. (I'm assuming there's something in the edited png that the launcher doesn't like?) Thanks in advance.. keep up the good work!

Re: White screen FIX Seems it's the new Sound DLL that does it.. Changed to use native and it works.

Trying the Technic Launcer v0.2 (6.0 on the site) and I get a white screen for the "Technic SSP" window Running on Windows Server 2008 R2 (yes, trying games out on a server OS) Used Compatability modes for Windows 7, Vista sp3, and XP as well as no compatability mode. 4G or ram, using the default 1G
