  1. Thank you!! School started so updates will be slow (but wonderfully therapeutic for me) AppliedEnergistics and Forcefields ores, because it was simple… silver and copper ores are old, but I keep finding new mods that need them pasted in. Messing with Biomes O’ Plenty ores (and gemblocks). Apatite ore is found in two mods but unless their uses are totally different I will match them. A lot of the gem ores here I recoloured from Redpower and Aether ones I did earlier. Skystone brick. Promised Land wip! Smoky quartz (thaumic tinkerer), just a quick recolour. Wondering if it fits my palette quite right, we’ll see Did Saguero cactus and fruit but forgot to get a finished shot. Also a lot of Natura planks, but they are not very thrilling. And barks, and stuff.
  2. Made a quick port of what ic2 support I have Nano and quantum suits, uranium, tin and copper ores, blocks for them + bronze. Did iTNT (dumb TNT for comparison), rubber trees. The reinforced stone and glass are also in, but I forgot to put them. The armour stand mod does not render entirely correctly, but there you go.

  4. Hahaha, you don't have to agree with him, it's just a fact. I looked and they are there. I just assumed Natura, because that's what has all the tooltips on everything. But Tinker's too. I could texture Hexxit forever-- so I probably wont. But now I have little bits for different mods, kind of silly.

  7. I've got Redpower world textures, and since someone's been nice enough to add an alternative for marble and basalt, I figured I could copypaste my redpower textures in for a quick texture job. So, which mod adds marble/basalt? I want to texture it! I've been poking around and I can't quite find it.
  8. Yeap, you just need to use an eye of ender, not an enderpearl, that's the correct recipe. I guess I can place it somewhere other people can use it, because my house is a bit hazardous right now, what with half the floors and the whole ground missing. OK, I put an ender chest in the Nexus zone for player base linking books.
  9. Orrr you could give us time to relocate our resources to one of the dimensions that will not regenerate? How about player data like thaumcraft research progress?
  10. Yes, the Nexus works perfectly fine, everything looks like Redpower was simply turned off on the server end. If I try to craft anything redpower, it shows for a frame then disables, as if I can do it on my end but server doesn't comply.

  12. Tekkit went to 1.5.1? that's awesome Except - Not to alarm you, but you may want to do a rollback after that. I came on just now and all Redpower everything was gone from the world and my inventories. Tubes, machines, half my house, the volcano it stands on etc. The emptiness can be walked through, but floating water and lighting hasn't updated. Redpower still exists in NEI and works in singleplayer. But as far as I can see is not in the new Tekkit build at all.
  13. After you so generously gifted me with a new suit I spent all my UU matter on sticky resin. 4 makes 21 resin, and thus 63 rubber. But I also think there's a Forestry thing that'll do it. I can make you a centrifuge extractor at least, then you can chuck rubber logs, saplings and everything in and have the rubber fairly fast.
  14. Your what, six quarries are not enough? :3 But, it's kind of true. While some ores are dense, it doesn't feel like there's much of, say, copper. And industrialcraft uses a bizarre amount of copper. Maybe we can buy it for all our loads of diamonds somehow?
  15. That's okay, it seemed to right itself an hour after the server reboot. Or my connection did. The livestock thing is weird though.
  16. I'm getting a lot of connection timeouts, Java errors and unresponsiveness, don't know if on my end or server's. I lag and glitch through the ground a lot, then reappear having crushed crops. Server connection seems fine enough. Annnd my lifestock is disappearing. Dunno if someone's been there, or they're glitching away.
  17. Hey Luke The new mining age is pretty, and pretty funny looking. Consumes canned food, eh? If you have 2 air shards, I can make you a pair of Boots of the Traveller, they seem to not cause much hunger at all, and you'll run fast all the time. They do not protect in any way unless enchanted, so there's that.
  18. Curses! that is a flaw in my plan D: It should be enough, I mean, heck, I've survived lava in my Nano back in the day. It's just the helmet prevents ticking stuff like drowning and poison from even ticking at all (so maybe fire), but what you describe seems broken.
  19. Gabby, are you wearing the full suit by the way? I always found Quantum a bit weird. Sure it lets you swim in lava, but you get the constant damage knockback effect, making it useless for actually moving in lava. That might be the fire, come to think of it. Also both that and Nano were definitely nerfed since the the technic-1.7.3 industrialcrafts, they do not hold power near as long (might be a config thing!). The boots' charge take ALL the punishment for any fall damage, also unhandy.
  20. I think the regular Dense Ores in the mining age as it is now will do juuust fine for ores. Instability is unfun and lag-tastic. Yes, requests would be nice I agree with Lethosos. I've actually been wanting to try this in Tekkit for a while, make pipes that pipe items or fluids/lava around in meaningless patterns. It'll look cool. And just have pistons shifting around in random configurations. I'm actually having to do some environment design for our current project, and someone suggested "technologic jungle". Make of it what you will. Something else you can do for prettiness would be to build extra islands in the distance, out of reach but adding to the atmosphere. Since people's render distances vary it might not always make an impression. You can also stick lamps/glowstone in the sky for permanent stars. That reminds me of a Yogscast episode where they are on this adventure map and ride through the stars in shuttles (minecarts on invisible tracks).
  21. That's beautiful, Luke. I love the floating island like that. (do we need a cake factory now?) I was thinking in the mining age, will it always be reset with the same parameters, or is it allowed to be a little random, like have crystals or other biomes and stuff?
