I have no sympathy for idiots who complain that they were banned for being obnoxious assholes when there's no explicit rule against it.
-
I won't ding you for a low-effort post but please put this in the right section. The Pagoda is not for general mod bug reports.
-
Forgebukkit's been dead for a long, long while. Are you thinking of MCPC+?
-
I don't get you people sometimes.
-
I'm extremely confused. How is Big Dig cheating, exactly?

I refuse to let this thread die.

Keep receiving an error report when I attempt to log in

I'm going to lock this because you posted in the wrong section, but before I do: Error seems pretty cut and dry to me, you can't download Minecraft for some reason. Try again later, maybe? Move where the Launcher stores its files? -
HELP - My son lost his world and I'm not able to help him.

You're sure he's selecting the right modpack? -
I've never used WinRAR, but from what I've seen you can do pretty much all the same basic functions it has with 7-Zip, although 7-Zip can only decompress RAR files, it can't create them.

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8974580/gees-modpack-1.0.zip Try this. I repackaged the ZIP using 7-Zip. WinRAR should've worked but it can be weird at times.

You're trying to use the way Forge is setup at the present for a 1.2.5 modpack. Coremods were not a thing until very recently. I can tell just looking at it that ModLoaderMP needs to go in the JAR, although IIRC the last versions of Forge for 1.2.5 eliminated the need for ModLoaderMP.
-
Could be. Mind posting the ZIP here?
-
Here's your problem: Your ZIP has a folder in the root that stores the modpack stuff. Do not do this. The bin, coremods, mods, etc. folders need to be in the root of the ZIP.

So you're basically crusading for the misled ideas of a group of people who couldn't care less about you personally because reasons.
-
You have an hour to answer this before I ban you, ndm.
-
Allow me to go a bit off-course here and ask: why are you so sour about other people making it easier for people to enjoy mods more and possibly give some mods a wider audience?
-
So the Platform should list every single mod ever made then and if you check off that your pack includes it then your modpack is not publically listed? Gotcha chief.
-
Hey. Stop putting each episode into their own threads, consolidate them into one big thread.

Technic/Tekkit or FTB (Feed the Beast) - Which do you prefer?
Ragnar Homsar replied to ChrisPerson's topic in Cafe Lame
No. -
Safeguard your stuff against users who want to install and play it on their own. Brilliant!
-
Why should the guys who make a modpack have to ask for permission for their users to install a mod on their own?
-
For the record, I don't see anything in the log indicating that the modpack actually loaded so this will stay open.
