have you set your local host IP as the server ip in server properties?

From what I understand Tekkit Lite is new and still emerging and I can expect to see much development of it over the next few moths. I have decided to stop running my server on Tekkit Classic and make the switch to a non-abandoned platform. I understand it is not natively Bukkit compatible after messing around with it for a week, but a number of ways exist to work in Bukkit plugins. I hope I am correct in my understanding. I want the benefits of MC 1.4.7+ instead of being stuck with 1.2.5 of course My question is will it be worth learning lots of new stuff and push myself to convert and hope to see steady development and updates of Tekkit Lite in months to come? Is it worth my time? Thank you. P.S. (I am quite an experienced Craftbukkit Server owner and have worked with tons of plugins and fixed lots of problems in my time. Not a complete noob )
