  1. Alright, I can deal with 40fps for now, hopefully it goes back up to where it was.
  2. Worked as of now! Thank you very much. Any tips on getting my card to treat Java/Minecraft like it treats everything else by the way?
  3. Alright, can't find that file, where is it and which option should be changed?
  4. I'll have to try that, I' I'll have to try that, I'll report back.
  5. None on the map. Though NVidia cards have always given me a high fps that isn't truely "smooth", though that could just be my refresh rate. Anyway, unrelated. Any other ideas?
  6. Hey guys. I'm back again with another Tekkit issue. Once again, I spent about ten minutes reading the section titles trying to find an appropriate section for this question. They're not funny, they're trying to hard. Anyway, yesterday I was getting about 20-40 fps, from 80+ the previous day. Not a huge issue, I just let it go. I started Tekkit today, and now I'm getting about 1-2 fps, and large areas are visibly rapidly unloading and reloading on the minimap. Here's a screenshot, keep in mind that this is happening in different areas over and over again: I had to go to the escape menu and bring up another window to take this screenshot, ingame was lagging way too much to do anything. The server is using an unaltered Tekkit, as well as me. Nothing has changed with my computer, and it normally runs very well. Now I'm going to be a little rude and ask not to receive the following answers, as they are not correct: - Updating graphics drivers/any drivers - Reinstalling Tekkit - Upgrading my computer... I'm happy to modify anything to do with... anything if it will fix this issue. Here are my system specs: Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5GhZ, GTX550TI 1GB, 7GB RAM, plenty of HDD space, at a good speed. Thanks a ton for any answers, I've tried all I can. EDIT: This is NOT full PC lag. It's running everything else fine, and I don't believe it's maxxing anything about it.
  7. The errors are gone, but the tools are still not working. Perhaps it's a seperate issue? I'm specifically referring to the Red Morning Star's right click are clearing functionality (It's doing nothing and giving no drop orbs), but I'm sure it's the same situation with the Red Katar. Any ideas? No errors on the console.
  8. Before I use this, why is there a .DS_Store file? That's typically associated with Mac files. Also, a META-INF doesn't exist in my one.
  9. Not sure if you checked the Dropbox links, but they all 404, except the official TubeCraft page, which doesn't list the version that I need. The exact filename is "tubestuff_49.1.2_for_1.2.5-bukkit", so I have to assume it's 49.1.2 that I need. Even if it DID list the correct file, I already tried getting a fresh one. Not the issue, let me repeat.
  10. Ah, cool. Good balance of cost to speed, I've been very happy with it. I'll take a look at the post EDIT: When I said this... "Please don't quote other posts or link me to them, as I've probably already seen them." I was referring primarily to that post. Not a fix.
  11. I've looked around, and for the life of me I can't find it. The section names and descriptions are very confusing, as much as they seem to be amusing.
  12. Retyping this b/c as I posted the site went offline, and I couldn't recover the post. Ugh. -- Alright, let me say right away, I've already searched long and hard for information on this issue, and found nothing helpful. Please don't quote other posts or link me to them, as I've probably already seen them. Well, I host a Tekkit server directly from my PC. As seems to be extremely common, the console began to be spammed with an error, several times per second. This time, it was this: What I did learn from my searches is that this bug is related to the TubeStuff mod. So I went and downloaded a fresh Tekkit server, and replaced my TubeStuff file in the Mods folder with an unused one. Didn't fix anything, the issue remains. So the question I have about this is whether the error is being caused by a TubeStuff file in a different location within the server files. This error seems to be preventing some important items within the game from functioning, and is impeding several people. Any help is greatly appreciated. Additional info so that I won't be asked this... The computer is perfectly capable of handling this, and has been for several weeks. It's a 2.7GhZ quad, 7GB of RAM, GTX550Ti (important because I play while hosting), 2tb of unused storage. Many thanks to anyone who can help.
