  2. Hi ! I created a custom modpack with minecraft/forge 1.7.10. But, I can't get this to work. Always crashing. I can't understand ANYTHING in the crash log.   5. Hey, So I've been working at my custom modpack for a while now, almost a week. I still am unable to get it to work. I encountered a different number of problems, it loaded vanilla minecraft, when I fixed that it loaded FML but none of the mods included in the mod folder. I'm confused as to what I am doing wrong can anyone help me? Here is the link the modpack: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/shenron-chronicles.1029511 Btw I am on MAC but I can still compress folders. Should I be using a different website instead of dropbox?

Mining: Resource world is reset monthly to make sure everyone has plenty of ores and resources to harvest. This also makes sure dungeons are fresh and ready to conquer. Survival: All of our worlds but Creative are survival based worlds. Factions: Want to be a part of something bigger? Join a faction with friends and declare war on your enemies in the Factions world. Griefing, Raiding, PVP, ETC are all allowed here. Role Playing: With our custom APOC-RPG plugin, MCMMO, And RPG mods on APOC you have custom gear, mob drops, dungeon spawns, upgradeable effects and auras, skills, and so much more! Economy: Do you like being a merchant? Our server rewards for everything. And we do mean everything! Mining, Killing players or mobs, digging, crafting, enchanting, repairing, smelting, voting, even being online you get rewarded for. With the money from these rewards you can rent or purchase a spawn shop plot and build your own customized store with items you choose with prices you choose. Economy can also be used to trade, buy items at admin shops and player shops, buy claimblocks to claim and protect more land, buy protections for doors, chests, etc. And even fund your faction in its war efforts by controlling more land. Worlds & Information: Spawn: This is our spawn world, we have rules, information, mini-games, admin shops, buyable player shops, etc here for all players to use and access. Resource: This is our mining and exploration world. There is no protections here. Claiming land by personal or faction means is not possible and pvp, griefing, raiding is allowed. Dungeons spawn here and the world is reset monthly to ensure a fresh amount of resources and dungeons are available to players. Sanctuary: This world is the most protected world on our server. There are many items in game that are not descriptive enough. A new currency system will be implemented at some point, and villagers from all villages will be updated to trade useful items from all mods. This currency can then be added to loot tables from mob drops and dungeon chests so that you can get what you want out of your rewards! * More tooltips! Every update will likely come with more tooltips as we receive more feedback. Our goal is to eventually make the pack completely self-explanatory wherever possible. * New weapon and armor tiers. Eventually, special tiers of gear will be made. This gear will be craftable using materials found in a variety of dungeons and bought from NPCs etc. in an attempt to reward players who advance in many areas of the game. * More dungeons and ruins! Eventually, custom dungeons and ruins will be created that will be exclusive to this modpack. These dungeons will have their rewards tuned to fill in various gaps in the mod pack, and possibly even add an element of world lore to tie everything together. * Official server and public server pack files. Eventually, an official server may be released, which will include tons of exclusive content. Before that though, a ready-to-go server pack will be added so that anyone can start an SMP server in no time!

  11. I have a custom modpack (actually two very similar packs, MCMinersPack and MCMinersPack Lite) in which I added the Hats mod. The Hats mod GUI will not open. (In either modpack) I believe this is classified as an in game bug. And it happens every time attempted. When I try to open the GUI, the screen will briefly "blink", that is, the journeymap minimap and such will disappear momentarily as if in preparation for the Hats GUI to open, and then everything goes back to normal. Also, when I kill a mob wearing a hat, I do not get a notification that should pop up telling me that I have unlocked said hat. No crashes actually happen; gameplay is practically just like the Hats mod wasn't installed, except it is. I've tried the default keybind (H), Changing the keybind, changing all other keybinds in the pack to keys other than H; I've tried googling it but I can't seem to find a close enough related issue. the Hats mod will work in my other modpacks which have it. I've tried using iChunUtil 4.2.2 and 4.2.3. Also the packs have the Morph mod, and it uses iChunUtil, so I've tried it on 0.9.2 and 0.9.3. I am wondering if there is some mod conflict going on; but I don't see what it could be. I've tried comparing the mod lists of both MCMinersPack packs and my other packs which have Hats. I can't seem to find any inconsistencies. The Hats mod and iChunUtil should be up-to-date with the most recent 1.7.10 versions. The modpacks are created in 1.7.10. I've been using Java 1.8.0 64-bit, and a very recent version of it. (1.8.0_121, to be specific) The versions of the mods in the packs are Hats 4.0.1 and iChunUtil 4.2.3. Also Morph version 0.9.3. If I have not included important information, please let me know and I will include it. I have tried to comply to the rules.

Anyway, I have been having a lot of fun fooling around with my own custom project on Technic, so I figured it would be nice to share some love! I'll take the first couple custom pack requests that I get and I'll do my best to help walk some people through creating their own packs! We will need a way to communicate. You can usually contact me on Skype. I will share that info with you upon request in a PM. Either PM me or reply to this post with the following info: Pack name; a creative name for your new pack. A mod list; a list of mods that you want to be included in your pack. (If the list is too long, please pastebin it or something.) Whether or not you will be needing a server package for your pack. Minecraft version you would like me to use. (PLEASE do a bit of research and make sure that each of your mods is compatible with at least one common version of Minecraft! This is very important and it can save me a lot of time) Please try to be as organized and polite as possible with your requests. I'm not going to accept any kind of payment or donation for this stuff. This is a fun escape for me, so don't expect to be setting crazy deadlines on these projects.   15. I've created my now third pack for technic but this third one is giving me some issues. I use dropbox to host and I have yet to get a ban because of data limits and the first 2 packs work fine. I've done all the various bug fixes that usually work but it still refuses to download. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.   18. I'm trying to create a custom modpack so I can play it with my friends. I have gone through all the steps listed here and read through some other forums, but I don't see anymore problems with my modpack. All the mods are updated and downloaded from Curse. I've tested them all in single player by adding them all to the vanilla client and everything works together, no errors. I copied the configs that were loaded from the client and put them in my server folder. I put forge universal in the bin folder and renamed it to modpack.jar (not modpack.jar.jar). I know it downloads correctly because I can go to the install location everything is there. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
