As many of you know, DM/RM Furnace from EE2 will double the ingots from ores. Now does it have a chance of doubling everything it smelts or just ores? If it doubles everything that is smelted, does that mean if i macerate an iron ore, get 2 powders, and then smelt it through the DM/RM furnace, i will most like get 4 iron ingots?
DM Furnace has a chance to double ore smelting only. RM Furnace always doubles ore smelting only. DM/RM Furnaces will not double smelting on anything other than ores.
Either, if you're talking about an RM Furnace. If you're avoiding Energy Collectors like I am, though, an RM Furnace is not high on the list of things to get. Advanced Machines are both easier and far cheaper to get and use.
