I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong. For the life of me I can't get a quarry to run off electricity. The current setup I have goes: Pump (above lava) Geothermal Generator Batbox Energy Link Wood Conductive pipe Gold cond. pipe Quarry All the wiring is copper but never more than about 5 or 6 long. The energy gets drained from the batbox and can be seen after the Energy Link in the gold pipe but nothing happens after that. The quarry just sits there.
Place the energy link beside the Quarry, don't use pipes to transfer the energy. (This will at least help) If playing Tekkit You're playing Tekkit if you have PowerConverters, so remember to (Do this; it gives the Quarry fakeuser the permission to dig) Code: /op [BuildCraft] Double check the batbox, people like to point them the wrong way (unsure if it is leached somewhere). Reduce copper wire lengths from batbox to ensure a decent charge gets to the link. The Quarry has an internal buffer it has to reach, and you may have some degradation from the wire length leading to a piss-poor charge reaching your energy link. Following your diagram, Powersource -> [Batbox] -> EnergyLink -> Quarry.
Thanks. It turned out that a plugin on the server was denying quarries permission to do anything. At least the guy who runs it now knows.
http://forums.technicpack.net/threa...g-certain-should-be-working.11952/#post-89800 This whole thread consists of fakeuser information, but to surmise: Code: /op [BuildCraft] /op [Redpower] /op [Computercraft] /op [Industrialcraft] They all use fakeusers to do things, so he'll need to incorporate this into whatever permission plugin he is using.
