Tekkit Classic Factions for Tekkit 3.1.2??

Hey everybody,

I have been trying to get factions running on my tekkit server for quite some time. I have tried all recent versions of the plugin, but to no avail. I read somewhere that I am supposed to use the beta 1.7.5 release, but when I do I an error saying that the "plugin.yml" is invalid. Can someone please help me?

Use this version. It is working great for me; no errors at all. If it still doesn't work, can you post a copy of the log where the errors occurred?

If you posted your entire log, would I find you were in Offline Mode?

I Use the 1.7.5 Beta And It works Just Fine.

I don't believe so; the log doesn't say anything of that sort.

Edit: I just checked; its set to "online-mode" = "true".

Damn, that's the only place I've seen this error. Sorry.

Maybe i'm doing something wrong; when I download Factions 1.7.5 beta I get a .zip file instead of a .jar. Is there anything else I need to do with the file before I can install it?

Ah. the Zip folder problem. I had the same issue.
What i did to solve it is, as it's opening all the things from the Zip, Hit cancel once you see the Factions.jar.
