First, sorry if there is already an answer to this somewhere and I missed it. Hack Slash Version:0.5.3 Single or Multiplayer:Multiplayer Operating System:Windows 7 64 Bit Version of Java:1.7.0_02 Description of Problem: I'm having some issues trying to create a server for Hack Slash Mine. I used Minecraft Version Changing to get the minecraft_server.jar for 1.2.3, then I dragged in the files from the Hack Slash Mine Server folder, plus the lang folder from the textures into the minecraft_server.jar. Then I ran the server and got no errors, it seemed to be working fine. When I started it, I could not place or destroy blocks anywhere. If I tried to place any block in creative, the game would remove it from my inventory too. After restarting the server, I could now destroy blocks. In addition, I could now place blocks, but only those I've taken while in survival. Next issue I had is that while flying around, I noticed a spot where I couldn't go, it was like an invisible wall in the middle of the forest. I could fly over or around it. Whenever I place any block in it, it turn into a block of leaves. Edit:This just happened on my singleplayer game inside a ravine, so I doesn't seem to be an issue with just the server. Are any of these issues well known, and is there any way to fix them? Error Messages: Did not recieve any Link to pastebin of log: No information (besides usual [Info] soandso lost connection) in server.log
The Creative issue has been fixed, and the "invisible chunk" issue is a frequent Minecraft bug. Don't play much vanilla, huh?
