Hello, I just recently started playing Technic and I was trying to use "Ravand's 64x64 realistc HD Texture Pack". http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/ravands-realistic-texture-pack/ Now, I followed the instructions and it says: "Since this a 64x64 texture pack you will need to patch your Minecraft with McPatcher HD Fix. Simply run the HD patcher and click on "Patch" and close the patcher again." So, I downloaded the McPatcher HD Fix and when I open it, I get this message: "Minecraft not found in C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft If the game is installed somewhere else, please select the game foler (the one containing bin, resources, saves, etc., subfolders)." So, I selected the file where I have Technic, and for some reason in the McPatcher HD Fix browser search for the file location, my Technic file doesn't show up as being there, though that it where it is located. So I did some research and saw something regarding Optifine already containing a Texture Pack Patcher. I have the texture pack and it runs/works fine, it's just that its not in 64x64 HD. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me pointers as to how to properly get the texture pack to be in 64x64. Thanks.
Don't post in multiple places about the same thing. It's bad form, just saying. Anyway, yeah, don't use MCPatcher with technic. Technic already has optifine, and using MCPatcher will probably mess things up. So minecraft is running with Ravand's texture pack? It's not crashing? The optifine is doing it's job. I'm not sure what you mean when you say it's not 64x64. Are the textures from the not pack being displayed on the blocks? Does it not look like the pictures in Ravand's thread? Also, I just looked at that texture pack. He "borrowed" his potion texture from LoL. Classy. Edit: And his golden sword uses the Infinity Edge icon... dude.
Yeah it's running with the texture pack and not crashing. The textures are being displayed on the blocks, it's just that it does not appear HD- grainy, low res, doesn't look like Ravand's pics. Lol yeah I didn't notice that he "borrowed" those. Thanks for the reply.
