If you were to have any mod in the technic pack. Via: Anything even if its incompatible. Mine would be Forestry,Btw,and Fossil/Archeology. Notice: I know that BTW and Forestry were taken out.
Not that this thread is headed anywhere but towards a horrible death, but hey, a girl can dream. Finite Water, Cubic Chunks, and Metallurgy.
Advanced generators for IC2(Just got updated!) DeFence for IC2 Dungeon Rewards for IC2 (adds circuits, batteries and all sorts of IC2 machine parts in dungeon chests) These are addons, but they qualify as mods.
Feed the beast compatible with Technic Ok just joking... jeesh tough crowd... Fossil/Archeology Twilight Forest Aether Mystcraft Zeppelin Better Dungeons Portals++ Extra BiomesXL Arcane Ascension
ICBM actually has a good chance. The mod developer actually wants it in technic/tekkit, instead of being passive/tolerant about it.
The chances of ICBM actually being successfully integrated into Tekkit servers beyond small servers or servers entirely dedicated to warfare are... Slim, to say the least. It'd definitely spell the end of an anarchy server or two (Unless the anarchists literally destroy every base dedicated to creating ICBMs before they are able to launch, which is possible even if it isn't plausible). Edit: On topic, I'd love to have it on my personal server and integrated into Technic, I'm not against it.
So maybe have it start as disabled for tekkit server-side, but in a config file, enable it if wanted, like IC nukes? Also for Technic it would be on regardless.
ICBM might not be right for generic survival/anarchy servers. However, if set up right, it opens up a whole new avenue to weekend server games. I've definitely got a few ideas I've been working on in my single player world.
If only we could tag people in our posts this thing would be going through all the things needed for Technic/Tekkit compatibility at this very moment *sigh*
Say two people (Or factions) become very powerful on a server, have nigh-on-impenetrable bases and nuclear capability. They can defend from one another's missles and trade fire from time to time. Sure, they're not affected too badly. But any other players (Or factions) caught in the crossfire would be ruined. It essentially kills off lots of newbies because of the learning/resource curve. At any rate, I'm still not at all opposed to it (In fact I'd love to see it in the pack), and it'd work well for my personal server (If we end up having a nuclear exchange and destroying a majority of the world, nobody minds a rollback or map reset) and any servers that handle it properly. It's kind of like the whole "EE Debate." If a server is able to handle it properly, it works great and everyone is happy. Most personal servers don't even need to regulate it.
I acutally made it and never released it because I wanted to avoid copyrights from Balkon and the IndustrialCraft creator. It allows you to craft bronze, copper and tin weapons from the Balkon's Weapon Mod. Meaning you can have a bronze halberd > Or if you're a little bored, you can use a copper sword(Strength of an Stone sword, moar durability)
