  2. I'm Also getting this error. But i can login to regular minecraft fine, so id dosen't seem to be the minecraft login servers.
  3. I am also having this problem...
  4. Me as well. It will ''sometimes'' work, so either try again or wait it out. Could be a temporary problem.
  5. I hope so....
  6. Well when it isn't connected or even is it will crash for me...
  7. The amazing Torezu has pointed out that it could also (and *most likely*) be an issue with the minecraft.net servers (again) (surprise... no?)

So yeah, not an issue with the launcher. Give it time I suppose.
  8. Well thanks for at least giving some insight :)
  9. Hey it's what I love doing! I wish I had more helpful things to say..hopefully my stay here on the forums will give me a lot more experience with troubleshooting the launcher and such. ^_^
  10. "Also getting this error. But i can login to regular minecraft fine, so id dosen't seem to be the minecraft login servers."
  11. finally worked for me...seems to come and go....not sure whats causing it but just keep trying the launcher eventually you'll get through.
  12. I crash everytime i try
  13. I also have this problem. Sometimes I open the launcher (which takes 15+ seconds to open) and it says unable to connect to minecraft.net Since there is no refresh or retry button, I have to close and try again. Without fail, the second time I try it seems to work fine. Still very annoying.

I've been playing minecraft all day yesterday and today without the launcher and it has worked without any problem. Considering my other issues I am having with this launcher, I would say that the launcher is more likely to blame than the minecraft servers.
  14. Yeah @compwiz91, that's exactly what I experienced too. I pointed it out in my bug report (which is now looking more and more obsolete if this is simply caused by minecraft.net servers...)

Just trying a few times did work for me in the end. Strangest thing!
  15. This is how to fix:
Delete all three files located inside the .techniclauncher folder.
They are: lastlogin, launcher.properties, and technic-launcher.jar.

Start your technic launcher and magic it works.

All credits go to 1FrodoBaggins1 on the yogcasts forums. :)
  16. Thanks! Gonna start suggesting this instead of deleting everything! Thanks for taking the time to post it here. :D
  17. I am happy to help. I am doing whatever i can do for the community. :)

  18. I did that.. then it said an Update was available, clicked yes (to download it) then Update Failed D: AND It didn't even work D':
  19. ive had this problem for 4 days straight. but i can play regular minecraft so its the launcher so how would i go about deleting said folder
  20. Hi Mr.Toast (It's good to be back!)

Firstly I can only help if you're running on a Windows computer. Preferably Windows 7.

    Now:
Press and hold down the Windows button [WIN]. It's one of the buttons to the left of your space-bar.
Now, whild you hold [WIN], press [R]:
    [WIN]+[R]
This will bring up the "Run" dialogue.
    Enter the following:
    Code:
    %appdata%
    and hit enter!
Delete the entire launcher folder called .techniclauncher

There you go. The folder will be re-downloaded when you run the launcher again.

BIG NOTE: If you have any single player maps inside the launcher folder make sure to backup those before deleting.
