Hello I work for a minecraft server hosting company (No names, might get into trouble) and quite a few of my customers are wanting Tekkit. We are having an issue with Java 1.7 but they are all fine using Tekkit 2.0. that log isn't even complete. what do you expect any of us to do with it? I can tell you that you most certainly have errors, if that was what you're looking for.
Are you sure you're using Sun/Oracle's JRE and not OpenJDK? I've never tried modded Minecraft on Linux but that might be the issue here.
I had the same problem. Then I updated my JRE to 64bit and it worked! I would make sure that the Java Runtime Environment is set to your correct bit. http://download.cnet.com/Java-Runtime-Environment-JRE-64-Bit/3000-2378_4-75317067.html
