Hey guys, when i start my server for tekkit, and i log on with technic client, i get a message saying: The server requires you to have the following mods: And then it gives me a list of mods. But i'm using the technic client, so why isn't the tekkit server recognizing that i have the mods installed?
Search other threads. There are many others like this BUT to fix your problem do the following: Open Launcher Click options Manual Build Selection Pick Build 3.0.3 - 1.2.5 Press ok. Close Launcher Relaunch and run the game. This should fix your problem.
You may need to delete your .techniclauncher\tekkit folder first, as it often doesn't like to downgrade.
This didn't work. Also, do you think it's because I deleted the netherores mod from tekkit? It wasn't working. Also, it didn't give me an option for 3.0.3. It says 7.1.0, 7.0.1 and 7.0.0.
That's your server launcher. You don't need to mess with that. You need to change to Tekkit after running the Technic Launcher (using the drop-down in the upper left corner), and make sure you're set on Recommended Build (it should read 3.0.3) inside the menu for the Options button.
