Any time I try to play tekkit lite it starts to download the software (I haven't played it since the launcher update) it just pops up with a screen saying "Update Failed!" and I can't play either of them now
If you're going to solve something on your own, post the resolution. it's guaranteed that someone will have a similar problem in the future and it would be nice if searching the forums allows them to find the fix.
Yeah, you have no idea how annoying it is when there's a problem tons of people have, and then one guy comes in and says "Nvm fixed it!" and then leaves forever, without a trace.
Ok ok sorry. Just go into options in the launcher and click "Clear Cache". It makes that modpack auto-update I think, so you can skip right the "update failed" screen.
