Modpack loading to Vanilla

  • Your modpack archive is different, but you have not incremented the version number in your pack settings page. Unless the version number increments/changes the client (after a restart) will never be notified that a new version is available and prompt you for an update.
  • Your modpack archive is missing the contents of the mods1.7.10 folder. While these files should be downloaded automatically (usually), it is still better to include your selected versions in the modpack. In the event that the automated service has problems the pack will not work properly if they aren't included.

Well I stabbed at it, gave up for a good, long time, then got that fire rekindled. I re-uploaded it and adjusted the version numbers as mentioned, and now I'm stuck with it not even installing. It downloads fine, at least. But nothing is launching.

That's the new download link from copy.com.

Something is "wrong" with your modpack archive ZIP file. What program are you using to create it? I simply extracted your archive and recreated it using WinZip, then copied over the file downloaded by the Launcher and the pack worked fine. This is the error being generated with your version of the modpack archive:

[B#245] 2015/01/23 07:37:29 [SEVERE] java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:UsersjuniorAppDataRoaming.technicmodpacksantagonistmods (Access is denied)

[B#245] 2015/01/23 07:37:29 [SEVERE] at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

The "access denied" error indicates something fundamentally wrong with the archive file.

Thats interesting. I always use WinRar for my .zip related needs. Strange though, I've never seen this sort of problem.

Edit: Okay, I remade the .zip and uploaded it and updated everything and its working fine now. I'm assuming I was dumb when I made the .zip because I probably created it as a .rar and changed the file extension, so that was my bad. Awesome, it works!
