I click "Play" on my modpack, but it just reopens Technic.

Okay, i know this is a topic that has been posted before, but none of the other "Fixes" that i found fixed anything for me.

 

I want to start off by saying that im a Technic noob, and if you could please dumb down what you say it would be so helpful.

After i download the custom modpack, and click "Play" the launcher closes for about 15-30s and reopens. Minecraft never pulls up, and nothing ever starts. I'm not sure if you need anymore info, so if you do please tell me.

It doesn't like your video drivers. Try removing the OptiFine mod and see if it works or the error changes.

I have a .zip folder with the same mods located at Http://tiny.cc/lostperfectionzip and all of the mods work fine, they just dont work in Technic. My friend even checked it on his PC last night and the pack ran fine from Technic. And btw, i have a really old Win-XP PC and it has no OpenGL support.

• The "stand alone" download you provided has Forge #1230, but your Technic pack has Forge #1291. This may make a difference. Try your Technic pack with Forge #1230 as well.
• Your Technic pack has the legacyjavafixer-1.0.jar mod. Since you have Forge >= #1230 you can safely remove this (and should).

Other than that I don't know of any reasons installing Forge into the Vanilla launcher would work but the Launcher would not.
