Don't know how to save tekkit server. Please Help!!

So I'm playing tekkit with my friend and when we leave the game and turn off the server and come back the next day it didn't save and and we had to start from an earlier point in the game. This is annoying because when we get so much accomplished it all goes to waste. Anyone know how to save? Thanks in advance!

In the console (black window) type:

save-all 3-5 times, then type stop

That's how you properly turn off your server.

You only need to type save-all once, as long as you wait until the save complete message before typing stop.

I find that sometimes doing it once doesn't save everything with Tekkit, so I do it 3-5 to be extra safe.
