Can you please be more specific does it give you a white screen after you have filled in your login details and downloaded the stuff. Does it not even let you login? I would consider the programs running would specifically be virus detection programs that may be blocking your internet traffic to the launcher. Unfortunately you have not described what is happening which makes it hard to help you. I only get a white screen when I check the box [use latest LWGL binaries] in the options. Spout/Technic both have issues here. You can uncheck the box, restart and everything will be fine. Also, you can manually install the binaries yourself. Just don't let the launcher do it.
