BinaryGreen Posted October 7, 2017 Share Posted October 7, 2017 I launched TechnicPack launcher today, and all my downloaded modpacks were gone from the modpack list. I went to "launcher settings", found the directory TechnicLauncher was installed to, and went to it. All my modpacks are still there! Even the ones that were "uninstalled" (though the saves, mods, the modpack folders still exist), it seems that TechnicLauncher isn't listed them as installed or found. So, I still have my forge clean install modpack in the directory where the launcher installed, but isn't showing up in the actual launcher. How can I fix this? It seems that the launcher does this every once in a while or so for no reason. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
EvilOwl Posted October 14, 2017 Share Posted October 14, 2017 If the launcher is closed by force or other problems occur while writing the "installedPacks" file then this happens. The file gets corrupted and the packs are gone. You can install the launcher in a different location and check the file contents, it's easy to rebuild it with a text editor.
