Launcher not installing.

I have attempted to install the launcher on my 64-bit windows 8.1 system at least half a dozen times now. Each time I have had this screen display ad infinitum.

i have inspected my specs and i am running java 8, with update 151. If i need to install an older version i am unaware of it.

I would strongly appreciate any advice towards this matter.

@EvilOwl I know it has been some time but I'm having the same problem for about a week. If I send you the log, would you be so kind to help me? I dont know what else I can do. Maybe you have some ideas. The support did not answer my question for about 6 days... :-(

I already tried reinstalling the file multiple times, with and without Internet security/anti Virus Software. I also tried starting it as an admin which did not work out neither.

Don't ask to ask, provide logs right away.

Make a new report next time.
