Modpack Launching In Vanilla

I'm well aware of the mass of threads with similar or basically identical titles within this subforum, and I've read through enough of them to be able to at least try and make sure I wasn't particularly falling into every pitfall imaginable.

That aside: My sister and I are putting together a pack between the two of us, and I've been running into a number of issues. The hosting is something I've fixed, handled, etc. While I don't much like Dropbox for personal reasons I've grabbed a direct link to the pack's .zip folder there. My sister handled the acquisition of all of the config files, and everything runs fine when implemented into Minecraft through conventional, non-Technic methods. Therein lies the issue though: I've been trying for about six hours now to get this pack operational, to no avail.

Any aid would be much appreciated.

I'm gonna see if I can figure anything else out while waiting for replies on this, so here's to hoping I'm just an idiot.

EDIT: Figured out what was happening. It looks like the platform is dropping the folder containing the /bin, /config, and /mods folders straight into the technic directory. I don't know why that would be the case though, as I zipped those three files as a group instead of just zipping the overarching folder itself. Moving the files from that folder (LSP06a) to the rest of the modpack directory fixed it, but I can't figure out how the issue is occurring.
