Zop
I doubt this will help most people, but I had Tekkit Lite set to manual versioning, and since the pack I use is a derivative of tekkitlite, I copied the extra mods from my modpack folder into my tekkitlite folder, and now I can run it with the launcher. The launcher thinks it's Tekkit Lite, but I don't mind.

Kenji_03
it wasn't fixed. Still getting the same error. Why did they change it? The old system worked swimmingly!
TheStann
It was working up until a couple minutes ago. This is irritating.
Kenji_03
Apparently the guys at Technic had a silly oversight. You have to manually change the URL of your pack for it to read. From "http://technicpack.net/api/modpack/alorianpack1" to "http://beta.technicpack.net/api/modpack/alorianpack1" Then it reads

AlphaByte73
I do not believe this, this is so idiotic, but this actually worked for me: PUTTING IT IN ADMIN MODE. Making the launcher admin actually removed the parse error for the time being. Try it and see what happens.
herofantom
Everybody, we all know that it's the launcher problem. Now, we just need to wait for the devs to fix it. It shouldn't take too long, and if it should, what can we do?

AlphaByte73
Right click on the launcher, select Run as Administrator, click "Yes" on the box that comes up/get the administrator's password and type it into the box, and you're done!
