leBUTTH0LE Posted July 27, 2013 Share Posted July 27, 2013 Hi, I'm semi-new to Hexxit, and I am trying to set up a LAN server for my sister and I to play on. I can set it up, and it shows up in her multiplayer servers, but when she tries to connect, it times out. Any ideas? Help, please! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
David_Wolfe Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Did you try connecting through direct connect, using the internal IP instead, with the correct port? That seems to work for me 'most of the time.' If anything else fails, well, perhaps check your virusscanner/firewall settings. red13q50 Posted July 29, 2013 Share Posted July 29, 2013 I am having the same problem as le and i tried everything you said but i had no luck but i did discover that my friend can connect to my lan its just me that cant connect to his lan.
