Antixus Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Dunno if this is problem or what, but i download technic luncher and go : Technic lite, vanilia and 5 costum made mod pack from technic luncher site. And all of them dont have sounds. But lower versions of game 1.5.X all have sounds..... I dont get it ? I dont have 3part program to this ? Microsoft silver light or what.... Sorry dont know if i am posting in correct treat here or Pogoda. PS: i was wondering is this becouse of windows 7, but on older pc with XP is the same problem. Torezu Posted January 2, 2014 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Brand new downloaded packs/copies of MC may not have sounds, since the Minecraft download doesn't include them, to save on download size. They download as you play. It is possible to copy the sounds from other copies of Minecraft you may have on your machine and let MC fill in while you're playing, so you'll have the vanilla version sounds but not mod sounds, for example. I'm not sure exactly how the process works, but I've noticed first downloads/installs not having sounds, when I had a slower internet connection.
