Galacticraft and Thermal Expansion both have different blocks, ores, dusts and ingots for copper and tin.

Don't know if it is best to disable one of them, but something should be done ;)

As far as I know it's always been that way. Galacticraft ores can't be pulverized only smelted yet if you turn them off I bet no ores would spawn on the moon.

I am a tad confused, it says that the power suits being removed since there is not a 1.6.4 version being made, but I managed to track down this which claims to work with 1.6.4 Of course I entirely understand that there can likely be something that I am missing, and over all I always look forward to updates! Our server has been running solid with 1.5 and everyone is looking forward to this.

It's not the Power Suits mod that isn't in the pack, but an addon mod for it that hasn't been updated.

Galacticraft ore generation in the overworld can be tuned separately in the config. In my world I've disabled its tin and copper ores while leaving aluminium and silicon to eliminate duplicates. Generation on other planets is unchanged.

To correct myself only Galacticraft Aluminum can't be processed, only smelted. Galacticraft Tin and Copper are processable. Using TE machines to process you only get one type of dust or ingot in the end so it's largely unnecessary to disable the Galacticraft ores. Just funnel all your ore into a pulverizer or an induction smelter and that eliminates the issue.

When u rightclick many of the Atomic Machines the game crash.

Having a tesseract putting items into a Logictis Pipe will cause server crash, and the game will crash when ever the chunck they are in is loaded.

I seem to have ran into an issue where the client can't connect to the server.

Both the server and the client are running v1.2.1 and both client and server are a fresh install.

Possibly a configuration mismatch between the client and the server.

Thermal expansion fluiducts are unable to extract steam from atomic science steam funnels in 1.2.1. It worked in 1.2.0 for me, but after updating to 1.2.1, they no longer work, even with a clean map. The funnels work, and fluiducts work, but the 2 do not work with each other.

After some testing, I reinstalled tekkit 1.2.0 and low and behold, the steam funnel---fluiduct interaction does not work here either. Something fishy is going on...

EDIT: Solution found. If B:"Allow Layered Turbines"=false is set to false, fluiducts are unable to extract steam from steam funnels. If it is set to true, the fluiducts are able to extract steam from the steam funnels again.

Ah I ran into this too. Is one of the affected computers a Linux machine? I'd guess and say your server is. Skuli please make note. There is an issue with filename casing. The zip includes TradeBooth.cfg with the caps. The mod appears to look for tradebooth.cfg no caps. Linux is case sensitive and the mod, looking for lowercased tradebooth.cfg and not finding it, resets to default and then saves a new tradebooth.cfg. This has no effect on a Windows based server.

Yes, my server is a Linux machine and you are correct about case sensitivity.

Thank you for looking into this issue, now we know how to resolve it.

Edit:

Resolved it by simply removing the generated config and renaming the original one.

rm tradeboothmod.cfg

mv TradeBoothMod.cfg tradeboothmod.cfg

I can now connect to the server.

Update logistic pipes to LogisticsPipes-MC1.6.4-0.7.4.dev.96 and BuildCraft to buildcraft-A-1.6.4-4.2.2 fixed the problem for me.

Ah I ran into this too. Is one of the affected computers a Linux machine? I'd guess and say your server is. Skuli please make note. There is an issue with filename casing. The zip includes TradeBooth.cfg with the caps. The mod appears to look for tradebooth.cfg no caps. Linux is case sensitive and the mod, looking for lowercased tradebooth.cfg and not finding it, resets to default and then saves a new tradebooth.cfg. This has no effect on a Windows based server.

Yeah, the mod switched the case of the config file from 1.5.2. Should be resolved in the next update.

what about BC machines and item ducts. they dont work well with each other. my quarry will spew out the top with a item duct there.

Sounds nice... I think we should now work on compatibility with Tekkit 1.1.10 maps =)

There are just some item IDs to fix... and some things to rebuild on 1.1.10 maps in my oppinion.

Maybe is a stupid question, but how come Uranium ore generation have been disabled ever since the pack came out. I think others mentioned 2, but every new patch its the same, u have to enable it on ur own. Messing up worlds, some chunck with uranium some doesnt, if ur not carefull.
