Operating System: OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leapord)

Java Version: 6 I think? (The latest available for Snow Leapord anyway, can't get 7)

Antivirus Program: None

Description of Problem:

Hi Guys,

I've tried various solutions to this and just don't seem to be able to fix it, even with constant fresh installs.

The launcher launches fine, downloads a modpack, FML runs fine and everything installs but then I just get a blank grey screen and it crashes, never actually getting to the game.

I can play Minecraft on it's own fine, but can't even play vanilla through the launcher.

Any help is much appreciated

EDIT 2:

*FIX: So after another few hours of messing around with it, I changed the build on Tekkit from the recommended (1.1.10) to the latest (1.2.1) and it worked!

I haven't tried this for any of the other modpacks yet though.

Only problem I now have is I have the wrong version for our server, sigh...

How much RAM do you have and how much did you allow the launcher to use? When you are on the launcher window, click the cog wheel button on the top right corner.

Anything between 1-2 Gig is fine.

I see a lot of "could not locate" spamming.

Try deleting the folder of modpack you tried to install

Do you have a firewall installed? You have to make Techniclauncher and exception for it.

1 GB Ram an it's set to use 1GB

Deleted the modpack folders and ran it all again, still nothing.

I have the same problem but when i press play on the launcher, it won't play it will just give me a message with: unexpected error.

I have the same problem, I was trying Attack of the B team. I just tried out technich and thought it was cool but I thought it was so cool I deleted all of my original things including my Minecraft launcher, then when i tried a modpack it didn't work, the only thing that works is normal Minecraft.

Have the same Problem Except After FML Finishes Loading It just goes back to the Mod Pack Menu. If anybody Knows about this Bug Please Help

ok i am new to tekkit and know very little about it.

so any way i just doanloaded the mod pack and when i try to open a mod pack it eaither instantly opens then closes or, opens up with a blank screen any answers.

 

P.S. how do u change the version from 1.10.1 or what ever it was to 1.2.1?
