~Modded AOTB SMP Server~

 

Gideon is a 24/7 custom 1.6.4 Towny AOTB modpack server that is currently hosted in London (UK).

The Server is currently whitelisted, but we are now accepting applications from players that wish to join our community.

The server was created because many of us (current staff) was tired of joining servers that were down for more than 24 hours, had many younger players that kept whining when loosing their stuff, or was asking for items even when the map was bursting with resources.

We are looking for applicants who are above the age of 16 (with exceptions if maturity is proven to be acceptable) and share the same qualities that are present in current members.

 

~We would like to accept players who:

~Have a good sense of humour.
 
~Respect staff and other players
 
~Doesn't spam or swear in public chat
 
~Assist other players and contribute assets to group builds.
 
~Have intermediate to advanced AOTB skills and are familiar with most of the mods in the modpack.
 
~Have intermediate to advanced skills in building
 
~Speak fluent English.

~Rules:

~No griefing or raiding whatsoever,  And will not be tolerated.

 
~No stealing others things. What's yours is yours and we shall respect that, we hope you do too
 
~No advertising other servers!
 
~Be kind, respectful, and understanding of others, insults veiled by the phrase "I was only joking" or similar will not be accepted and will result in a ban (be mature)
 
~Pranking is allowed, but again nothing malicious, harmful, or potentially dangerous. Follow the above rules with this, if you do not know whether it is permitted then don't do it unless confirmed by a senior member(Basically: Use common sense, and follow the same rules as the other servers)
 
~You must be 16 or above. We are willing to make exceptions but it is extremely unlikely unless you can prove in some way you are mature enough, We apologise to everyone under that age but please do not lie as we will find out.

Our goal is to create a fun, social, friendly and respectful community, where players enjoy spending their free time playing. We do not tolerate veiled insults! (like the "i'm just joking..." insults.)
It is also important that we emphasize that we at Gideon are 100% legit! We do not spawn anything in for any reason, we expect that you accept your losses and never ask for anything that isn't already implemented in the game.

~What types of builds do you usually make?: I LOVE love love the industrial, slightly overgrown look, with underground areas.
~How active will you be on the server?: I will be on nearly every day
~Have you read and accept the rules?: Of course, every last one ^^
~Have you played on any servers before, if so why did you leave?: Yes, I have. I never purposefully left one, the two I had played on previously had to be shut down for various reasons
~You get pranked by another member of the server, how do you respond?: Prank back twice as hard~
~You accidentally let your nuclear reactor run for too long and it blows up all of your things, what do you do?: Rebuild, duh :P That,s half the fun, after all
~About you?: I am a proud Brony, though im not obsessive about it, dont you worry. I want to get into recording, but I want to get a feel for my new pc before I attempt THAT.

~How familiar are you with Attack of the B-Team and Modded Minecraft?: I just started playing the mod pack in June but I've learned alot about the mod from watching Generikb and BdoubleO100 play from when they first started Attack of the B-Team
~What types of builds do you usually make?: Mostly homey buildings, but I am experienting with making ruins
~How active will you be on the server?: At least a hour a day.
~Have you read and accept the rules?: Yes
~Have you played on any servers before, if so why did you leave?: No
~You get pranked by another member of the server, how do you respond?: Start plotting a plan that will inevitability blow up in my face
~You accidentally let your nuclear reactor run for too long and it blows up all of your things, what do you do?: Try to remember when I built a Nuclear reactor.
~About you?: I get my building inspiration by just look around at the world and technology and think about what i think I can build and even if i don't think I can build it I try anyway. I really enjoy watching Generikb and BdoubleO100, but I also enjoy Zisteau, Glis6, Vechs, and the Achievement Hunter guys (wish they'd do more PC minecraft). I'm thinking about getting into making youtube videos, but I'm currently not set up for doing so at the moment.

How familiar are you with Attack of the B Team, and modded Minecraft?: Honestly, I am not very familiar. I only recently started with the modpack. I understand one of your requirements are to be experienced or at least intermediate with the modpack, but I am having trouble learning just from simply normal servers and Youtube/the wiki. I am still learning, and I would appreciate if you could over look this.

 

What types of builds do you usually make?: In vanilla Minecraft, I normally make modern houses, and towns. Though with this modpack, that can be turned into incredible builds considering there are micro blocks and such. Besides actual houses and such, I like to build things that challenge my knowledge. Thats why I have gotten into this modpack, its a challenge to me.

 

How active can you be in the server?: Honestly, I can be on every day. Though, I still have a job and I most likely wont be on until late at night.

 

Have you read and accepted the rules?: Yes I have read and accepted your rules of the server.

 

Have you played on other servers before, if so why did you leave?: I've played on many servers. I dont normally leave a server until it actually shuts down or I dont feel the enjoyment I had felt when I started playing it. If i happen to leave a server, it would be because of the quality of the server. If its too laggy, making it unable to play with any fun, I most likely will leave.

 

You get pranked by another member of the server, how do you respond?: I would have a good laugh about it. No big deal, as long as its not ruining my building. Most likely I would start to plot a prank for that person. I like to be clever with my pranks.

 

You accidentally left your nuclear reactor run too long, and it blew up all your stuff, how do you react?: This was my mistake. I would learn from it, and have to accept that I lost it all. Of course if this was someone else's doing, I would be a lot more angry.

 

About you: I'm a very outgoing person that can be mature when needed, and non-mature when not. Most of my friends consider me the class clown because I really am. I enjoy Minecraft and normally spend it playing with real life friends. I'm not much a PVP Person, I enjoy building and dislike if I'm griefed. This is why I would want to join this server. A hobby of mine is writing. I like to write poetry, instead of bottling it all up for the rest of my life. I consider myself a very good writer, but I doubt it will mean anything when I'm older. I feel like I went on too long with this, so ill just end it here. Thanks for reading my application, hope you consider me. Also, if I'm accepted, could you message me on Skype? Thanks.

Thank you for your application to become a member on our whitelisted server, But after consideration we will be rejecting you for the time being. Purely on the basis that we did not feel you provided enough information about yourself in your application.

 

After-all we are a small but active community of players who are community focused.

~How familiar are you with Attack of the B-Team and Modded Minecraft?:Yes I've been playing for a couple months. I really enjoy tinkers construct and micro blocks, Better storage, Project Red (Transportation)
 
~What types of builds do you usually make?: Kinda older type build. I don't have a type of building i just build i what i feel needs to be built. If i feel like building a spooky tower then i will. My limit is endless. My favorite build are my builds that i spent hours getting the right micro block in the right spot there so many type of shapes its had to choose what works the best.  I also do a lot underground type builds.
 
~How active will you be on the server?: I will be one at least 15 hours a week or more usually 2 hours or more after school.

~Have you played on any servers before, if so why did you leave?: I've Been trying to find the perfect server one that fits me. I've play on server that have different types of greif protections and one had a sponge a there grief protections. So im excited to try this one out :D
~You get pranked by another member of the server, how do you respond?: I would really care to much as long as it wasn't a pain in my ***. Since praks are supose to on this would bother me much it would just put more fun in the game

I live in a small ish town i play guitar, listen to music, make music, then why my life doesn't involve music i chill out play video games and watch YouTube Videos and hang out with family and friends. And if you're wondering the YouTuberes i watch they are Sundde, BdoubleO, Woofles, and some vlogers :)
