GabeNewell Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 I have a 64-bit Java installed on the technic launcher and it recognizes it, but when I try to launch Tekkit, the game loads in the loading bar thing but the launcher closes and reopens again. How do you fix this? You may first want to check if you are using the recommended Java version, which is Java 7 64bit. Running the current Tekkit on Java 8 update 20 or newer is not possible due to a known bug. If you take it to the tracker, make sure to fetch >crash logs, which are more useful than the launcher log. Also, pastebin is preferred over file hosting services.
