Different yet Familiar.

This is my simple texture pack that, I think, looks nice without being just flat colors.

The textures done so far take into account the default texture, the purpose of the block, and the materials used to make it.

The textures have also started to be less simple and more busy in some cases but the blocks this happens on I feel need this approach.

Not all of the textures are done and some of the ones that are are just placeholder.

Also I prefer the industrial side of things so those things will probably be finished first.

The latest version is here.

This pack should work with Tekkit 3.0.3 but I have not tested it.

This is my progress on the "major" mods.

(If I left a mod out of this list that you think should be here let me know.)

Default-100% Everything done. (Sort of the wolf is still default.)

IC2-95% Almost everything. (Can be classified as done if you wish.)

BC3-95% Almost everything. (Can be classified as done if you wish.)

BC3 Addon Pipes-85% Most pipes are done.

RP2-95% Almost everything. Not all of the logic blocks yet.

RailCraft-90% Almost everything.

Forestry-90% Almost everything.

EE2-70% Some items and GUI. All blocks.

TC2-70% Good Block support. Some items done. GUI needs to be done.

Millenaire-30% Mostly the blocks. NO GUI or villagers. Few items done.

Versions:

1.9.5 Release - Added Forestry support for people who use it.(like me)

-Added more support for TC2 items and the Buildcraft addon pipes.

-Changed various things.

1.9.4 Release - Various minor texture changes the most notable is new glowstone texture.

-Also proper random mob support.

1.9.3 Release - Proper EE2 block support and small RP2 block changes.

1.9 Release - Posted on Technic Forums.

Pre 1.9 Release was posted on the Minecraft Customizer here.

Notes:

If anyone has better pictures for use in this post please post them, also anyone using this pack I would like to know what mods you use most often so that I can get those done first.

Don't read to much into the images I just put something together in creative to show it off.

The electric engines powering the quarries are from silentdeth's mod. I also have support for his mod.

Edit-The Buildcraft pipes in these pics are pre 1.9.5 pipes.

Drean the MFSU is textured but it looks just like the default one because I couldn't figure out what it should look like, same goes for alot of various block throughout.

The_DarthMoogle I don't know which machines exactly your talking about the IC2 ones arn't super cluttered but the RP2 ones are kinda.

In both cases I tried to make all the machines different in appearance and try to keep them similar to the default so people could easily adjust.

That said when I got to the RP2 machines I simply tried to vary them in appearance.

You also said I should try to vary the textures more, considering how I go about texturing them that is kinda hard, also which textures all, default, or a mod?

Personally, I am truly lazy and have been using your texture pack for a day now, and i have been wanting to tell you it is awesome and keep up the good work, but again i was lazy. But then, i saw the mojang logo in the front and it is amazing! Keep working on this Texture pack, IT IS AMAZING! :))

I have updated the pack some.

-Forestry now has support even if it is not going to be part of Technic.

-Add some more small item support for TC2 expect more items in next release.

-Buildcraft pipes in general have some more contrast however the stone and iron pipes look similar.(still working on that)

-Various other small changes.
