  1. Be sure there's no items being dropped by machines constantly causing build up as this will drop your FPS greatly, but probably doesn't lag the server.

A few things you can try:

    1. Install a plugin like NoLagg/ClearLagg/StopThatLag and run it every once in a while

    2. Try installing Optifine

  2. When ever I try to play Tekkit (Regular, and I have also already downloaded the pack) I get the numbers letters for about 10 seconds, but then the launcher freezes and Tekkit doesn't start up. I have tried re-downloading Technic Launcher, still didn't work. Tekkit Lite and Hexxit both work for me.

Can you post the error log please?

  3. You see, that's what I'm having trouble fixing. I can't seem to get the Multicraft server to use both jar files. I have tried setting it to use BTeam.jar and minecraft_server.1.6.4.jar and to no avail. Multicraft can only select one jar file to use, and cannot seem to get it to use both.

Just use BTeam.jar but don't delete the other file. BTeam.jar loads itself AND minecraft_server.1.6.4.jar all by itself.

  4. I'm wondering if anyone  has experience in getting Dynmap to work with tekkit 1.1.10? I have dynmap up and running (currently online if the tekkit server is, moving to a dedicated web server is later on my todo list) http://map.tekkit.pr.clan.ws

seems that it has support for some blocks, like ComputerCraft and Greg's Lighting, but not for anything from Steve's Carts, immibis MicroBlocks, or MFR  (at least, not MFR rednet cables) There may be more, but  most of my mod-specific blocks are inside building, so I haven't had a chance to do much testing

    information:

    Tekkit Version: 1.1.10 (recommended)

    Server: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

    MCPC+ versions: git-MCPC-Plus-jenkins-MCPC-Plus-Legacy-646 (MC: 1.5.2) (Implementing API version 1.5.2-R1.1-SNAPSHOT)

    dynmap version: core=1.9.2-1885, plugin=1.9.2-310

That's because it's designed for Vanilla minecraft (and a few popular mods). It doesn't come with EVERY SINGLE texture known to minecraft. You can try googling the texture packs for Dynmap and then putting them in /plugins/dynmap/texturepacks/standard/<modname>/ but you can't expect it to come with everything.

  5. Care to Join us on a B-Team server then hope on over to Enderworld.enjin.com and apply to be whitelisted and get the server info.

Also check out Coffee_nutz Grinder Modpack and vote all with us...

Yet again that webaddress is Enderworld.enjin.com

It's a small comminuty thats gets along, whitelisted, economy based, team based, fun based.

We have a Ventrilo server that everyone hangs out on.

And yes I could make this post bigger but the goal is to find a few people more people to join us. Limited sitting of 20 more players allowed before we close the app doors.

You get access to the Main Server Coffee_Nutz Grinder and the B-Team Server and any other server we bring up and down all for just building with us and joining. :)

So lets see who wants to join us.

Why did we open the doors.... Well life stepped in the way and normally we run at 30-40 peoples but recently dropped to 10 and it's getting lonely.

    Coffee_nutz out

Please note that per the rules, you are REQUIRED to list the IP in your server post.

  6. This mod pack is horrible. I cant find anything. And they added Flan's vehicle mod but didn't give you the shit to make the fucking vehicles. If they added that shit, then I would be happy with this shitty mod pack.

Weren't you taught to be able to talk without using cusswords? I mean it's not that hard if kindergarteners can do it.

Anyway, you DO know that you can add in additional mods to the modpack right? Sure, you'll have to make your own server jar too, but who knows, it might become popular.

  7. RAM makes very little effect on your FPS (I'm assuming you mean FPS lag).  What would 'bottleneck' your system is the processor and GPU.  If your processor is a very minimal 2ghz dual core with no external GPU (aka Graphics card) then you will notice severe lag.  To check your processor in Windows you can right click the task bar and open TaskManager and view the number of cores and the clock of your CPU.

    Hope this help!

You can only view the Clock Speed in Windows 8 and newer.

    For Vista and Newer:

    1. Open Start Menu

    2. Search System

    3. Click the 'System' result

    For XP and Older:

    1. Right Click 'My Computer'

    2. Click Properties

  8. Just needed to fix the errors, not add features. Are you trying to write the code for him or are you trying to fix the errors now?

Also, googling for the wiki link takes 2 seconds, and learning about it is better done through learning Lua and programming in general.

Either way, you fixed none of the 4 or so types of errors, so I did it instead.

Did I also mention, os.sleep() is a totally redundant function that just calls sleep()? Overriden, lol.

You'd be surprised how many people are too lazy to google.

Also, I only attempted to fix the error he was having problems with.

  10. The problem in your screenshot is the fact that you haven't replaced the configs with the ones in the update.

The way to perform the upgrade on a server is:

extract the zip file to a new folder (something like "bteamnew")

in your original server folder do the following:

    rename mods to oldmods

    rename config to oldconfig

move the mods folder from the bteamnew folder to your server folder

move the config folder from the bteamnew folder to your server folder

    Start up the server again.

Your server world shouldn't have any problems with the new mods, as not much is really changing apart from a few item IDs.

Your single player worlds should have no problems running after you update the client. If you are falling through the world, wait a few minutes for the world to update and then you should appear safely on the ground.

Be sure to COMPLETELY stop your server BEFORE you do any of this.
