  1. NOTE:  This modpack is to be considered unstable, so expect it to crash...a lot. If it does please contact me here or post in this Topic and I will try to resolve the issue. Also I will be attempting to balance the pack out a bit as well.

    What is Teron?

Teron is simply a modpack that's about choices, mainly to allow you to choose your own building and play style, do you want to use Magic, or do you want to use tech, or maybe both? The choice is up to you! The modpack is designed to work on 1.7.10.

    Information

The Information will be posted on the Technic platform page, any extra information is available upon request.

       What is Project E?

Project E is simply a rewritten, open-source version of EE2, essentially it's EE2 for Minecraft

1.7.10(at least it aims to be). It's still in alpha however it seems rather usable.

    Final Statment

Please enjoy, and press that +1 button, if you have a suggestion please PM it to me and I will look at it's viablility also I might be Changing IC2 out from experimental to classic(as Immibis is allowing an updated IC2 classic version to be downloaded).

  2. Actually at the time this was posted Mojang's servers were unstable and were going online for a few seconds before shutting down again. Some people on twitter claim they were DDoS'ing their servers because of their new EULA changes.... I'm not exactly sure when they stopped, but I assume it was about Midnight CDT or 1 am CDT give or take several minutes.

  3. Well, IC2 hasn't really updated steadily, so when Tekkit main came out, IC2 was dropped, and it probably won't be re-added. If you wanna use RP2 or IC2 then you can use Tekkit Classic(formally Tekkit), and/or Tekkit Lite.

  4. One, Most of those are in mods no longer in the modpack such as IC2 or Redpower 2, Lamps and alloy wire was in RP2, while I believe that Energy Conductor was in IC2, if you need a replacement guide is found here. Also if you want to use a plugin I suggest setting up MCPC+, and then install a plugin.

  5. Yup, I've played around with a few of the mods myself, and they are awesome. I haven't tried a few due to, technical reasons, however their 1.6.X updates are awesome.

Somewhat Off-Topic, has anyone played around with EnderIO yet?

  6. Thermal expansion is being launched, not Tekkit. TE was just the last major mod to update, though MFR does not have an official 1.6 update yet either.

I thought Skyboy's version is an official version. That's what I've found.

  7. I dont know what I'm doing wrong...

    My turbine just dont start.

I have a fission reactor and I put a Fission Fuel rod on it, the reactor is inside a 3x3 box of water and I made the 3x3 turbine on top of it.

I can see in the thermometer that the temperature is rising from 0 to 1800+-, but the turbine does not work, I connecter a redstone conduit between the turbine and a redstone energy cell...

    (all this in creative mode)

    What else am I missing?

The reactor can not be covered by water anymore, it has to be exposed to air in order for the turbines to move

  8. maybe you could set up a server for FTB ?

p.s if you do could you send me and anyone else who's interested the ip

While I know that not everyone can be pleased, I don't think that FTB is the way to go. Maybe a Hexxit server, or a Tekkit 1.1.5 server. I also don't like FTB, I like the idea, but not the pack itself. I have nothing against FTB though. Besides if I read what he said correctly,

It died. I checked the console every now and then and it was always empty. I kept it running because it didn't really affect me (I'm already used to sleeping next to computer fans) until I had a power outage that corrupted the world and probably would've required deleting some chunks. By that time I didn't bother since nobody was active anymore, and dismantled the thing. I apologize for not posting here before. I was busy with work and it slipped my mind.

He already dismantled the system in which the server was hosted on. Or he just stopped the server.

  9. Yup. Everyone was nice, while there was drama, everyone helped one another out. I got Redstone Energy Conduits, and a Redstone Energy Cell, before I could actually get them by myself. I got Liquiducts and a set of Liquid Tesseracts, to help pump back some oil I found, to use for my first energy source. I really loved the community of the server, and I did recommend this server to my friends who were playing Tekkit.

  10. Well 1) Solar Panels are part of the IC2 mod, and IC2 isn't in Tekkit Main. Again Tekkit main is the new tekkit. Condensers, compressors and extractors, are also not in the game anymore. Also Electric Furnaces aren't in the game anymore either as it is IC2. Tekkit Main is a new Tekkit. It has some Tekkit Classic Mods, but not all of them. Tekkit main is a new tekkit. If you want to see the mod lists you can look on the main page. However a Tekkit Classic world will be somewhat forever broken in Tekkit Main, due to the uranium ore IC2 generates, unless you go to Tekkit 1.1.5, and change the ID with the Atomic Science Uranium ID, which MIGHT work(it most likely won't). Changing to 1.1.5 is rather simple just click the little gear under the Tekkit Icon, and select use latest version. Then you can just go into the Atomic Science configs and change a few ID's although this probably won't work. While complicated to use your old world in the new tekkit, this is all I can really think of ATM. Of course you will need to copy your world under Tekkit Classic(The one you are used to)remove the Solar panels, Compressors, condensers, extractors and electric furnaces. Although starting a new world is the best way to go.

  11. Alright Tekkit Classic is the Tekkit on 1.2.5, the original Tekkit. This Tekkit is the new Tekkit, also referred to as space tekkit, and tekkit main. Tekkit Lite has more mods the Classic, including Classic mods, but doesn't support plugins by itself, you'll need a different program. Tekkit Main, is pretty much a new start for Tekkit. It is designed off of the Buildcraft power. You can't update a Tekkit Classic world to Tekkit Main, without modification of that world(in game), or you try to find the updated mods, a prime example is IC2, any IC2 machinery will not work in Tekkit Main, because IC2 hasn't had a stable official release in a while, so you'd need to add the test versions, or removed the Ic2 machinery. However Tekkit Classic worlds can be transferred to Tekkit Light, albeit you will need a world converter, which I don't remember the link to it.

It might sound Complicated(as I have a way of explaining things in a complicated fashion) however just because I'm afraid a person might not understand the above here is pretty much what I said

    1) Tekkit Main is not Compatible with Tekkit Classic or Lite Worlds, without modification(more than a world converter), by either re-adding the mods, albeit you might not get a stable version, or major modifications to the world. Although you will want to start off with a new world, as conversion might not be possible, or will cause a lot more headaches than it's worth

    2) Tekkit Classic is the Original Tekkit

    3) Tekkit Lite has more mods than Classic does, and includes classic mods, and worlds from Tekkit Classic can be Converted to Tekkit Lite, however a program is needed(I'll post the link if, and when I find it(if I'm not mistaken and this exists))

    4) There is no Ic2, Redpower 2, or Railcraft in Tekkit main, nor is there any EE2 thing in Tekkit Main/Tekkit Lite, as EE3 is taking it's place. Everything by these mods, excluding RP2 frames and EE2, have been re-added by another mod in Tekkit Main, however Jakj is working on a mod for that, it is called Redstone in Motion.

    5) Redpower 2 was removed because it wasn't updating

    6) IC2 is effectively dead, because no stable, official release has been made in a while.

    7) EE2 is being replaced by EE3 as I said before. EE2 has not, and most likely will never be, updated past Minecraft 1.2.5

If you have any other questions let me know.
