can someone make me a premade plugin folder?

If so (and if possible) I would like to have Essentials and Permissions, and within permissions so that there are two groups: Admin and builder. Admin is able to to everything, builder can build and TP

Go to Finder and on the top left hand corner you should see Go click on it. Near the bottom of the list you should see Go to Folder click on that then type "/Library/Java". It will bring you to the folder

I think i have found the fix. First off downgrade Java 7 to Java 6 from here. Next go to Library find the Java folder open it and in it you should see JavaVirtualMachines delete it and that should fix the problem and tekkit should work.

What I'm saying is the problem is not on our end, so telling people to bypass the launcher and use a different one means the problem will never be fixed for those people. We can never fix an issue for everyone because not everyone has their computers set up exactly the same. We can't magically know what is wrong if people don't submit bug reports properly. Posting in this thread to tell me it doesn't work doesn't help. If the fix in this thread doesn't work for you it means you do not have this problem, or you have other problems in conjunction that are preventing the fix from working. You need to go post your launchers most recent logs in the bug section so people have useful data and can say "oh you need to do X for it to work". If you really demand I offer blind help, here is a suggestion, try clearing the cache through options. I have seen at least one person who said that helped. I can't verify. Troubleshooting isn't my job.

Now let me get back to my actual job which is drawing pictures.

Who called you stupid? Where did I actually say that? You deciding you're offended is on you not me. I've merely stated that work arounds that go as far as bypassing the entire launcher should not be required. If you direct people to another launcher as a fix, they will do so instead of trying to find a proper solution. Then that means they will miss out on the benefits of using the Technic launcher to play the packs. If that is all it takes to insult and upset you, then the internet might not be your scene.

I figured out how to fix the interface issue.

Simply click around on the launcher where you expect the Modpack selector to be, and you'll see the list of modpacks appear. Select one, and the interface should start coming back. Login with your details, and then it should be all back to normal.

Although now, the game crashes right after I load up Voltz, before getting to the Mojang screen.

When I start up my launcher, it doesn't load everything... I can only see the boxes where u can fill in your username and password, and some pictures

First I had a problem that the launcher worked properly, but after logging in it would crash... now this...

I am having problems with my Technic Launcher.

I am on a Mac, running OSX10.8.2 and Java 7

I deleted my "techniclauncher" folder in "application support" and deleted my old launcher.

Then I downloaded the new launcher (for Mac) from the website. (a .jar file)

I ran the .jar file, but then all I see is this:

The actual problem IS fixed. This is the fix. All the crap with MultiMC is not needed. You are all just doing it wrong. Something is wrong with your Java settings probably, or you are not following the steps properly. If you just keep redownloading and expecting it to work it obviously wont until you figure out what you're doing wrong. If you do some crazy work around and wait for a solution you will wait forever because the solution is at the top of this thread.

I can't make it more clear. I am on a mac right now and have resolved the issue for myself and have played today.

1) you install multimc
2) download zip file from media fire

3) open multimc

4) click on instances button in multimc

5) copy zip to this folder

6) unzip

It doesnt load the mods for me then... when trying to join a server, first it says I require MCForge, you can download that with multimc, dont now what version, but I assume it's the first one... Then I have the mediafire file in the instance, I start up the instance, forge is loaded but tekkit isn't... forge says it has only loaded one mod, and that's forge...
