  1. Pop a launcher log up there! It's likely the minecraft.net servers (or possibly the Technic servers) being strained by high levels of activity.
  2. What antivirus are you using? Some of those like to block the launcher.
  3. The .exe launcher doesn't work for everyone. Just almost everyone. You seem to be a special case. :)
  4. You need to MCEdit the map and remove the offending pipe(s). Then you should be able to get back on the server.
  5. These are incompatible with the latest version of Forge, and as such I don't see them being included until the compatibility issues are resolved.
  6. This is often a firewall/AV blocking the mod downloads/configuration. What's the server computer running?
  7. See how easy that was for me to diagnose (literally just looked at it) when you provided a launcher log? You're running an extremely old copy of the launcher. Go get a new one.
  8. Run the .jar with a batch file that specifically calls in Java 7. Also, check in Control Panel to make really sure you don't somehow have even older version(s) of Java 6 installed.
  9. You have two copies of at least Nuclear Control, probably among other things. Check your mods folder for files with duplicate names or the same name with a different version number, and delete the older ones. *Edit: Solved your own problem.
  10. You read the stickies at the top of this board. Pay particular attention to the ones on Common Problems and Solutions and the Required Report Format.
  11. Add your Java bin directory to your system path variable. Google it to find out how.
  12. Okay, I'd reinstall Java then (remove with control panel first of course). It seems like your Java install might be borked.
  13. Okay, now try a launcher log like you should have in the first place.
  14. This is...unsurprising, though you might be able to get a little more with OptiFine appropriately configured. Also, you'll want Java 7u5 - it's a bit more efficient than any version of 6.
  15. I don't think you can, and I think it might be worthwhile to leave it in anyway, so people can (hopefully) search for it instead of asking again. It could be moved to the Technic or Tekkit Bug Board, though, if you can get a mod to do so, even if it's not technically a bug.
  16. The Tekkit server needs Java 7 to run. Install it, and remove Java 6, and you should be good to go. You'll need to revise your path variable a bit (from jre6 to jre7), but that's it.
  17. Does the old version still work? If so, I'd just play that for now. I think the minecraft.net servers are not working correctly, and it's causing a lot of headaches.
  18. Then your antivirus or firewall is likely blocking the launcher. What are you using?
  19. Yeah...I think the minecraft.net servers are down, which is preventing everyone from doing anything. Go into Task Manager and kill Java, try rebooting and reloading the launcher, and if that doesn't work you might just have to wait. The verification servers are typically down for less than 24 hours.
  20. I don't believe so, since they will have registered as new bags under a different player name, but if you're really concerned look in "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\technicssp\saves\[worldname]\data" for bags with your name on them (along with a tablet) and see if they've been changed since after you logged off the last time. You'll probably see some in there with the name "Player" as well. If they've been changed very recently, see if you can restore an old version with Previous Versions (Windows 7 feature). Otherwise, wait until you can log in again.
  21. Your alchemy bags and transmutation tablet are both linked to your login name, even in single player. If for some reason minecraft.net is down or your login didn't take (it's been giving me fits lately as well), your bags will be empty. As soon as the login works again, the contents will return. If you put anything in them now, when your login works again it will likely be gone.
  22. I have noticed the same thing. The minecraft.net servers are not the most reliable in the world, apparently. Patience is encouraged. Is anyone else having trouble?
  23. At this point, I would probably grab a new copy of the server software. Save your world.
  24. Why would you set your bin directory instead of just running Java where it's at or adding Java's bin folder to the system path? Either will keep you from needing to shift it around all the time. Otherwise, I see no issues with anything you're doing, and I'm out of ideas.
  25. You probably upgraded to 3.1.0 without realizing it. Make sure you're using the Recommended Build (3.0.3) in Options with Tekkit selected.
