That is very sad news for all of us

Well guys I have bad news. The host i use says their server had a "critical failure" and that the data is lost. 
 
This will take  us a few days to work on but as of right now the world is a total loss. Their response is that they will credit the server for 7 days worth of time for the inconvenience, its almost insulting for the amount of time lost for everyone involved.
 
I will keep everyone updated as we move forward, please give a little bit to see what can be salvaged, but I did not have a local copy of the world file... So I apologize but it will end up being a complete re-install.
 
As always you can hit me up on steam or vent and i will try to help, but i run the server when I am not at work/school so best times to reach me would be 5-10pm weekdays and weekends are kinda random.

Regarding your issue of being stuck in the mining world it is my understanding that the Admins (who I am one of) would not be able to help you as only generictag can reset you. I will aim to have a chat with him tonight about you and Dunjlord being stuck in the mining world (probably about 9-10pm GMT as Generictag is in the US so has a different playtime to me and you (guessing your GMT from the time of your posts)).

Also in reply to your comment about Admin activity - alot of the staff are in the USA as the server is based in states, this means alot of them will not be online when you are / are busy assisting Generictag with the server move. I am the only European Admin currently and I have been unavailable due to work commitments (Swanning off around Europe), I aim to return this weekend onwards so hopefully you should start seeing more Admins.

Hopefully see you on the server shortly.

Hi there, Andarden here, I'm gonna back you up 100% on this one karth. Everytime I had contact with Aaron he was usually requesting me to fix his own mistake then would whine and complain endlessly because I didn't give him free items back. He constantly talked back and when I told him why he was not receiving help he would make up some new reason.

This is the old posting, please remove and/or allow this topic to sick into oblivion. After 21+ pages of comments and bug fixes and a restart, it seems prudent to start a clean thread for the new server.

OK update on the reset. 
 
I have copied over the players houses that were on or left me a location. Talk to an admin to get it pasted. (admins use //schem list to see them all) Spawn looks great, but needs some work still. Server shop and economy are a work in progress. Look for updates in the next couple days. PVP arena is open and attached to spawn. players do lose money for being killed in the arena, the killer revives some money as a reward. Players caught using gear that is not allowed in the arena will be banned from having them at all. Fight fair and may the best player win. Mining world is active, please use the portal that is straight ahead from /spawn. I'm sure there are more things that i forgot that should be listed. Ender, I have reset your toon but i saved your stuff. Please check with lof or myself to get the chest of your items.
