I added you to the WhiteList. Please keep in mind this is a brand new server and needs to be built up. If you play on the server and know people who may enjoy it please feel free to direct them here. I would like to build this server up. As with all brand spanking new servers it takes time. I need the help of the community to make that a reality. The server right now has a cap of 20. However it is my own dedicated box so I have total and full control of that. 
 
Also please note, this is NOT a typical server. This server will punish you and is meant for those who want and love the challenge. I do not want to give people a false sense of being able to peacefully build and go to sleep at night so no mobs spawn and they can go back to building. The server is geared specifically to providing you with a challenge.

Sorry, not sure why I never saw this.

I made it so steel couldn't be made that way to force the use of Tinker's Steelworks. Melting chain does work. I wasn't able to make it so that didn't wirk with no Modtweaker function well for 1.6.4.

There are a few other ways to get lots of steel but my lips are sealed.

As to answer your question if it will grow. Yes I hope so. I put a lot of work into it. And I am just starting it up. So it will take time yes. But I do plan for it to grow.

After some serious testing and some serious editing and configuration modifications. The official Magical Divination server is up and running. The Magical Divination thread is here: >Magical Divination Thread (1.7.10)
 
So feel free to have a look at it so you can know what to expect on this server. This server is a PvE Server that uses both Plugins and Mods. Because Magical Divination is a Modpack about Exploration and Survival one may find themselves far away from home, stranded. This is where the Web Store comes into play. Magical Divination is linked to the Nerd Storm Production Website and has a store that can sell you basic necessities for survival using the server's in-game currency system.
 
Some other neat features:
HQM Installed - New Quests are added constantly and are pushed to the server and don't require a client update. (Be mindful Hardcore Mode is NOT enabled, just the questing portion)
CustomNPCs - can give you quests and tasks to complete.
GriefPrevention - claim your own plot of land that you decide to call home from when you are weary of travel
Much more that really can't all be listed in a server thread (check out the main modpack thread for more info)

- No Griefing people's work (there is a grief plugin installed that you will learn more about when logging in)

Disclaimer:
Please keep in mind this is NOT an easy pack/server to survive in. This pack was designed specifically to challenge the player in survival. So complaining and raging that you are always dieing is the intended result. This pack has no Tech mods in it. This pack is purely magic, exploration, survival. The server is configured to give you a hard time and is configured to "find" players and create events around them to add to the challenge. Even within the safety of your "home." The server "punishes" the stationary. If you simply play minecraft for building and technology then this is NOT the server for you.

Magical Divination

Magical Divination is a non-tech modpack created by Nerd Storm Production. It focuses strictly on Adventure and Magic. There are a variety of changes made to the actual mechanics of Minecraft that make this pack quite the challenge. This pack is NOT for the feint of heart. This pack is for those that thirst for adventure and exploration. The pack used Solder integration so updating is not an issue and will be fairly quick after the initial download. All mods within the pack are at the current stable (if not better) releases of the mods contained within. If there are issues with the mods I will provide what help I can but more than likely it is a problem with the mod itself. This mod has been tested on both SMP and Single Player and works without issue.


The pack offers a questing system as well as enhanced NPC Villages. The Modpack also contains a variety of terrain generation mods that will reward your exploration with various dungeons and towers that contain loot. The modpack has been configured to allow loot from these special chests to contain some otherwise unobtainable items from other mods.


Magical Divination also contains a survival system. You must maintain your health and be careful while traveling in darkness. There is no telling what terrible creatures lurk in the night. Players will also come across events that can and will create an even larger challenge.

EDIT: Improved the overall quality of the thread, added an extra paragraph with our city system, and removed two parts from the application. We found these two questions pointless and we decided that removing them altogether would make people happier. I have also made the application more specific, bolding and emphasizing that you need screenshots of your builds. I had originally thought this would be obvious, but it seems it isn't. And one last thing for you more private people, I have removed the necessity of the first name in the application. Adding it is optional, and shows us that you aren't a hermit, which gives you brownie points. The real last thing is I bolded the word "word" so you know that that font size and formatting is the word you should be looking for. Good luck on getting in to the server! We really wish to see you there.

Imagica and I can tell if a creation is ripped or not. Whenever we see and application, we check their post history, all of the minecraft fansites, such as Planet Minecraft, google images, etc. All of the applications that have been declined so far have just been because of incompleteness. The extra word is there for fail safe, but if your application is extraordinary, with a lot of detail, and you seem like a nice person, we will most likely include you in on the server. Having the word just shows that you care enough to actually read through the thread and see what the server is all about. If we cannot find the picture, we will assume you are genuine.

Honestly, there isn't a real definitive way to prove its theirs. An example that would help though is a chat message in the world then we could just match their screenshot name with their application name. 

Having this type of application proves to us they have read the post fully and are a worthy member to join the server. I will admit some is confusing, the word part in particular but this is a "fail safe" thing to make sure nobody is copying your application.

FearSilva, you are declined. You have not even attempted to post one of your best creations, and you have failed to tell ImagicaGaming the correct word.
 
And to the people out there who are seeing this post and thinking, "they dont accept anybody, why should I apply?" The only reason we are declining everybody so far is that they failed to read the thread and fill out the application correctly. Best of luck to you new appliers, we hope that you may get in to the server!

We're asking for as much detail as possible as we don't want the server littered with random, unfinished and/or bad builds.

Your applications are all lacking detail, none of you actually gave proof of your creations, one of you left out most of the information, and none of you sent ImagicaGaming the word. You may all read through the thread again and make one more application to get in.
