    Loader got a reaction from randrew3421 in Crazy ore generation
    Uh, ok, I'm not sure what you mean so please don't be offended if I've misunderstood, but let me try and be clearer.

    CoFH is a team that makes mods - Thermal Expansion is probably what they're best known for, but they have other mods.  One, part of the CoFH Core mods, is capable of taking all the different ores from different mods and combining them into a single system for world generation so you don't just get ores in other ores all over the place.

    It's got a bunch of controls about what ores it spawns where, this is stored in a config file called WorldCustomGen.TXT in The Attack Of The B-Team modpack.  Changing settings in there lets you determine what ores will spawn where.  This will allow you to have 'Crazy Ore Generation' (I'm not quite sure what you mean by that either, but I assumed you just meant like the B-Team ore generation).

    Does that clear anything up?

    No, that message is because they don't recognise you as a witch yet - you need a familiar.  The seer stone will call them to help with fighting or spellcasting once you're in a coven.

    To disable the obnoxious water sounds (in attack of the b-team), you need to either go the the config files or type /config whilst in game. Then find weather mod, and go to wind. After doing so, change true to false next to Wind_Particle_waterfall. And there you go, irksome water sounds, gone! If you need any further assistance, please ask. Hope I have been helpful!

    Loader got a reaction from Rhodiaxx in Why does flans gun ammo cost soo much iron?
    If you're interested, you can tweak all of the modern gun values for damage, accuracy, firerate, bulletdrop etc. all in the Flan folder, you'll find a zip called modernweapons Pack for Flans Mod 4.1.zip and in there there's a bunch of folders.

    Boxes : Info about the ammo box, where you can set costs and remove guns.
    Bullets : Bullet drop, Clip capacity, Clip max stack sizes.
    Guns : Damage, Accuracy, Firerate, Allowed Mods.

    This looks like a fun thread. Here is my base. It is a WIP. There is still so much to do.

    That's awesome

    Love the style of yours Halestorm, especially Charles and the gussied up smeltery (I've never tried to pretty it up, it never occurred to me).  It might be of use to know you can make another kind of seared brick with nether materials now, or make seared stone in the smeltery itself to use, those might help if you're looking to change the look.

    Hafsteinnd, that's neat - don't forget about the carpenter's slopes and collapsible blocks though for the roof if you don't want to use stairs (slopes are a flat 45 degree angle that'll make most roofing easy, the collapsible blocks can be tilted into whatever shape you need to fill in stuff that doesn't work with slopes).

    Loader reacted to HalestormXV in CrayFish Custom Config Modification
    Here is my little contribution to the community for this modpack. It is nothing massive but it should work well for people. I have not yet tested it as I do not have access to my server files right now but I dont see why it wouldn't work. So I will edit this post once I can test it or if somone else wants to test it and reply that works too.

    This is a modification to the CrayFish furniture mod to include the raw Food+ items so that CrayFish's oven can cook and output them. I also added the vanilla minecraft carrot to output the Food+ Cooked Carrot.

    These IDs are from the default B-Team pack.

    Unless the B-Team pack authors write this into the main modpack zip you will have to re-add these in after every pack reset or update.
    #################### # oven #=================== # Add custom items to the Oven recipe list. #################### oven {     # Add Your Custom Food Item IDs Here To Be Cooked     I:initIDs <       6208       391       6256       6257       6229 6256       6235       6250       6258       6259       6191      >     # Add Your Custom Food Item IDs For The Result Of Cooking Here     I:resultIDs <      6209      6219      6220      6221      6230      6220      6236      6251      6253      6254      6294      > } EDIT: Just tested it and it works fine. This is also only required server side. So for those of you hosting servers this edit can be applied server side and even without a client side patch it will work. If you are running SSP then just add this into your CrayFish config.

    Please post in here as it's a technical issue rather than gameplay related so the right people will see it;
    http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/project-4-attack-of-the-b-team/

    We'll need your logfile from the crash, to get that click the cog in the top right of the launcher (settings) and you'll see a button called logs, click that and it'll open a folder where you can get the latest log for us.

    You did the right way. There are just so few people actually helping out in the Tracker.
    New users do it wrong when they see the words "Gameplay help and discussion" under the [modpack name] section, they believe the help translates to "post bug reports here".
    The difference?
    Gameplay help: my chickens wont follow me when I hold wheat! help!
    the thermalcraft furnace doesn't work when I use bucket of oil in it! help!

    Bug report: the modpack fails to download
    It loads but when I click play on mojang menu it crashes!

    People mix these two believing them being the same thing, which is why they ignore the bug reports section completely.
    To my relief, I'm glad someone like you has found a fix for this annoying CodeChicken config file thing. I'm going to refer users to your earlier post.
    Thank you

    That certainly seems to be the same error...

    I suppose we could try manually setting that link to the library if you've already tried everything else (hardcoding like this is terrible practice, but it's about to be changed with the 1.0.9 B-Team update anyway so it's unlikely we'll see any future problems from it).

    Here's how you do that if you're not familiar with how this stuff works;
    1: Goto this folder: %AppData%.technicmodpacksattack-of-the-bteammods
    2: Make a backup copy of codechickencore 0.9.0.7.jar somewhere outside of those mod folders.
    3: Open codechickencore 0.9.0.7.jar with an unzipper (winzip, winrar or 7-zip should all work fine).
    4: Look for a file in there called dependancies.info (yes, I know it's misspelled, that's ok so long as it's been consistently misspelled through the codebase ) and copy that file out somewhere you can edit it.
    5: Use a text editor (I used notepad++, but notepad should be fine - not word or wordpad whatever you do, it has to be the simplest kind of text file) to input the lib name directly.
    6: It should now look like this in that file, note the definition of "file": has changed;
    { "repo": "http://files.minecraftforge.net/CodeChickenLib/", "file": "CodeChickenLib-universal-1.6.4-1.0.0.45.jar", "dev": "CodeChickenLib-dev-@MCVERSION@-@[email protected]", "class": "codechicken.lib.asm.ASMHelper", "version": "1.0.0.36", "mcversion": "1.6.4", "coreLib": true } 7: Save and copy dependancies.info back into codechickencore 0.9.0.7.jar and overwrite the old version (make sure you have a backup copy before you do this or you might have to redownload the whole pack to get this file again). 8: Try and run again, let me know how it went, and post the new log if it didn't work.   Edit: Unfortunately IP.Board keeps compressing that first line (repo) as it's a link rather than display the full thing.  You only need to change the "file": line so it shouldn't be a problem, just a heads up in case you were going to copy-paste the whole thing over yours.   Edit2: To make things easier for other people looking to help, we've got the following logs so far that seem to have this error http://paste.ubuntu.com/7005722/ http://paste.ubuntu.com/7005623/ '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> http://pastebin.com/kNvEe1jH   The above is for 1.0.8, if for some reason you were thinking of doing this on 1.0.9 (please PM me first, it shouldn't be a problem anymore!) you'd need the file to read this instead;

    Sure Kittychan, just please post the log so I can make sure this is the same problem before you try that solution - that solution is a workaround, not a fix, and it's far from ideal (you shouldn't use it unless you have to, though admittedly it probably won't matter in 1.0.9).

    Ada, did you try turning off any realtime scanner on your antivirus software?  That's mentioned as being a potential cause of this issue on that chickencore thread.

    Kittychan and TroubLe, please post your logs so I can check if it's actually the same problem (Just to be certain, sometimes I've seen people say that and it's the computer equivalent of "My car won't start" and "Wow, mine too - we have the same problem!" when one guy is out of gas and the other guy is missing an engine )
