wow, I guess it didn't take long for the cracked versions to work around the changes we made to the file mirrors.  it figures, I guess.

Because i don't really have money to spare... (like most people) Kind of sad, i know

Why dont you simply buy it? lol because Having a cracked "public" server on my own computer can be pretty dangerous lol

These are the exact steps I use to setup my MCPC+ server..
I just did this again today to upgrade to 1.09b.
I do it like this because I like to keep my server folder as clean as possible.
Some of these steps could probably be merged, but I do it like this to help track down potential problems.
 
1. Make a Fresh folder and put the MCPC+ jar file inside of it. (Put nothing else in the folder, except for this one jar file, for now.)
 
2. Run the file using the command:
java -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -XX:PermSize=256m -jar mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B250.jar nogui 3. It will now download all required files and make all required folders.
 
4. Once it completes (after the "Preparing spawn area" messages, and after the message "done" is displayed)
    Type 'stop' to stop the server.
 
5. Now, delete the world folder (Do this even if you plan to create a new world for this server)
 
6. Download the server files for the modpack, and extract to a separate folder.
 
7. From the folder you extracted the modpack server files to,
    Copy the file 'server.properties' and the folders 'mods' and 'config',
    Paste these 3 files and folders into the MCPC server folder.
    (You could also just copy the mods folder and config folder from you own client,
      but make sure not to copy any client only mods (I dont think there are any in AotBT though)
      you will also need the server.properties file from the modpacks server files package)
 
8. If you have a world folder from a previous instance, copy that into the MCPC folder now,
    make sure the 'level-name' in the server.properties matches the name of the world folder.
    If you dont have a previous world, dont worry about it one will now be created when you start the server.
 
9. If you plan on using any bukkit plugins put them into the 'plugins' folder
 
10. Again start the server with:
java -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -XX:PermSize=256m -jar mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B250.jar nogui 11. Now the server should start, give it a minutes or so, its has a lot of mods to load.
 
Once messages stop being displayed test everything by trying to login.

Im thinking of making a creative server to reproduce a 1/1 scale megalopolis with other "worlds" like Star wars on the moon, Western in a big desert biome, etc 
 
I actually got the idea from the Lego movie which really got me pumped lol
 
I mean you guys have loads of different settings ( as in Far west, Underwater gungan city, Egyptian etc) we could build and I mean the sky is the limit in minecraft, literally lol
 
For the megalopolis I was thinking like 2000x2000 blocs with different districts:
-Downtown business district with skyscrapers (150 to 250 blocs high)
-Market ans shopping district (big roads with shops, malls etc on each side)
-Residential districts ( modern district, Victorian district etc)
-Entertainment/nightlife district (bars, restaurants nightclubs etc)
-Harbor district ( this will be divided into two parts, one commercial ( cranes, containers, cargo ships) and the other would be personal with yachts, sailing boats etc
interspersed in all this would be gas stations, fire stations, police stations , i was also thinking BIG structures as in Football stadiums, hockey stadiums, soccer stadiums etc as well as concert halls and the likes
 
If You guys have ideas you can talk to me about it and we can implement it
 
I'm looking for about 20-25 Master builders (haha) 
 
Also, You wont necessarily be able to start making exactly what you want to do as there are many of different things to do, ie roadwork, signs, etc I hope you understand I will try to accommodate people to their hobbies IG but it might not always work

I've been looking for a small, community-based, mature server for a while now and after some mixed results, decided to make my own!  I don't wanna bore you with a long introduction, so let's talk features:

-The server is, for lack of a better term,  a "vanilla" modded server.  This means no banned mods, no significant plugins (such as protections, economy plugins, etc.), and no additional game-changing elements.  It's simply straight-from-the-box AOTBT.
 
-The server is focused around a small, friendly community.  Not many applications will be accepted (to keep things tight-knit), and only those who are sufficiently articulate and mature will be considered.
 
-This server has no hard-and-fast rules.  This doesn't mean things like griefing and harassment won't be dealt with - it simply means that we rely on our own common sense instead of having to be told what to do.  Just try to be a person that people want to play with.
 
-The world is hosted via a 2 GB standard Cubedhost MC server.  This means that lag should be minimal for a community of our projected size and it will be online 24/7.

I don't mean to be obnoxious, but it tells me that I am not whitelisted. I am restarting my client now to see if that will fix it.

If possible I have 3 names to whitelist as we've just been server hopping around looking for a stable server where we won't lose all our stuff or lag though the void for eternity.

Reason I want to join: My reason is probably not too far off from everyone else's reason for wanting to join.  Whitelisted servers always have a better community and thats what I'm looking for.  Hoping to make some friends and have some fun.
