Something to do with Bookcases from bibliocraft. You need to get MCEdit and move your character further away from them, if that fails then you need to delete any and all bibliocraft bookcases in your characters vicinity. Also your java is using your outdated version Uninstall it, it will revert to the newest you downloaded

Could you please stop posting in other peoples threads and make your own?

I don't know what else to say, maybe restart your PC? You are the second person who comes with the same error - an error without an actual error on the error log - so I don't know what causes this...

AVG is among the horrible AVs that bullies technic launcher for no good reason. Uninstall it, get a better AV like Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast! 32-bits java? Why limit yourself to 1gig when you have a 64-bit OS? Uninstall the 32-bit and get yourself a 64-bit java, this will allow you to allocate more RAM to the launcher (should you need it) and hopefully make it run properly when dealing with heavy modpacks like tekkit and Hexxit.
-
What antivirus do you have installed? What bits is your java, 32 or 64?
-
I just noticed you have technicpack.com The address is actually technicpack.net :derp:
-
You don't need this website nor Platform to make a modpack. The platform is only if you wish to share it easily with friends. Which webhost would you suggest, may I ask?

Uninstall Norton, it's a horrible AV that blocks and taunts the launcher for no reason. I don't know why it would give you an error saying "cannot run Minecraft in current configuration.", that sounds strange. As for java you have both that one and your OS as 32-bits, so you might have problems loading huge modpacks as Tekkit. There's nothing to fix that, unless you're prepared to buy a new 64-bit OS. There's not much more I can say, since the error log doesn't show an error...
-
The log doesn't show any errors... Do you have an antivirus installed? What bits is your java, 32 or 64? How much RAM did you allocate to your launcher? How much RAM does your PC have?
-
There's no download feature on Technics wiki page. But I do have an idea you could do: Screenshots! Take screenshots of every mod wiki page/ Tekkit wiki and save them on your pc. Does take time, but that would be one option if you have problems with the more intricate mod designs. Another thing would simply be to get a download plugin for bitcomet ( I think it was for bitcomet, haven't done it myself but saw a friend doing it) and download youtube clips like Direwolf mod spotlights on your pc. The guy is quite thorough and easy to follow

Please don't bump your post Before you start the launcher, try right-clicking it and choose "Run as admin".

This bug report is quite the low effort from your part... I hope you are trolling here... a computer? You don't say.... OS means what operates your computer; Windows (7, 8 or XP), Linux or Mac. Google or ask a friend if you don't know what you have Google or ask a friend if you don't know what you have There is ALWAYS a log, the launcher creates a log the second you log in. You can find it when you are on the launcher window and click the cog-wheel on the upper right hand corner. Copy paste the content of the entire log - either the latest file or the one created when you had the error - and put it between quote tags. If the log is too long you can paste it on pastebin.com and give us a link Do you have any antivirus installed?
-
This sounds more like an server problem than a modpack one... I can't give much help, but I can say this Your game uses an older version of java. Uninstall java 7.25 so the game will revert to the latest version you have installed
-
When the error states this, delete the Hexxit modpack in %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> modpacks -> Remember to backup any saves you have on Hexxit before deleting! Also, you may claim you have downloaded the latest java, but that's not what is being used Uninstall the java 7.45
-
Right-click the launcher and choose the very first option "Open"
-
Install the Mavericks update for your OS X. or switch to fullscreen while playing if you're lazy

Launcher stuck on 'Processing Version'
Munaus replied to Christophar1's question in Technic Launcher
There is a malware known to the minecraft community that prevents players from playing MC. This malware can be found on the list of your installed programs as "Relevant Knowledge". It is just a hunch I have, hoping to find the source of this problem. There are a few others who have the same problem as you have This is Java saying " I waited for the Technic bus (server) to arrive. I waited and waited and waited but it did not come so I went home crying..." The launcher tried to connect but didn't get any response after several tries, the timed out is one way of saying " I'm giving up!". If you have no antivirus installed and no firewall blocking the technic launcher then I haven't got any solution to this, sadly... -
Please stop triple posting. Like I said earlier, your PC is infected with malware. Get yourself an antivirus program like Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast! Do a full scan of your PC, it will take an hour or so depending on how many harddrives and programs you have installed. Take a cup of tea and read a book, these things take time

lwjgl error / White screen on technic modpack launch
Munaus replied to coolanator's question in Technic Launcher
Java doesn't care what you downloaded as long as it uses the old one. Uninstall java 7. 45 If you took some time to read the Common Problems sticky you would've known that Mcafee is among the bullies of Technic -AV list. Uninstall Mcafee, get a better AV like MSE or Avast! Fix these two problems and your modpack should work -
Platform Pagoda is not Technic launcher Bug section. Please read the section titles and descriptions before you post
-
When you said you deleted Norton, you meant you uninstalled it? Do you have a firewall installed? So if the files wont download, does that mean you have nothing inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic or .techniclauncher folders?
-
Hold on. You allocated 7 gigabyte of RAM to Technic Launcher? And what is the rest of your computer gonna use? It needs working memory aswell... Drag it down to 2gig, try the modpack now
-
How much RAM did you allocate to the launcher? What bits is your OS and Java, 32 or 64?
