This is your OS This is your Java How much RAM do you have? And how much have you allocated to the launcher? Computer - right click - properties. This way you can find out how much RAM. The right top button, when your at the launcher interface, that looks like a cog is where you can allocate more RAM to the game.

Camping mod is redundant. There's something called Infernal Mobs in Hexxit, you don't want to camp outside with them... Oh and there's the Meteor mod... you sure you wanna camp out with giant rocks falling on your tent? Millenaire has been a favourite with Technic from the past. But it was such a memory consuming beast that it fell out. I'm glad it did Thaumcraft is a very known and mainstream mod, Technic knows about it. Why they didn't add it in? You gotta ask them... I'm guessing they left it out because of Taint. People keep complaining about that. Archimede's looks nice

After you buy Minecraft from Mojang you use the same username and password as you used to create that account in mojang. The best way to test if it's a Mojang or Technic problem: download Minecraft's vanilla launcher from Mojang. Log in. Did it work? Then you should use the same username and password on Technic launcher

This is found in the Common Problems sticky on Technic Launcher bug section. Q. My Launcher starts up but there are no packs! A. Your Launcher might not be able to connect to the net. Before you open it, try right clicking, and on the drop down menu select "run as admin". This is reported to have bypassed this issue. (Windows only) If that doesn't work, submit a bug report in said section so we can find the problem. I recommend reading that sticky, it has many useful advice on common problems.

My words came a bit harsh, apologies. But my point still stands, there is no such thing as "update screwed us all". I'm using launcher build 377. It works. An update either works for all or for none. It works for me. And yes there is one other thread with the same problem. Care to show me where the rest are? I've heard, on rare occasion, that when the downloads are flooding technicpack.net it might get an error for many users. I've never encountered this, so don't quote me on it. Find out what java version you have. 84x tells me you have 64 bit, but what version? Get the latest java if you don't have it already Launcher build 3.7.5? are you sure? Update your launcher Do you have any firewall, antivirus, pop up blocker installed? Edit. I forgot to add, OP, that without an error log nobody can see the process. Edit it in your post inside the code tags

Either the update never came to europe or your bullshitting me. I just tried the Launcher, worked fine. I even deleted the .technic and .techniclauncer folder and the technic launcher on my desktop and redownloaded the file. Still works as a charm. It's not technic, its YOUR system that is blocking it. Antivirus, firewall. Common Problems mostly has all the answers.

oh you have AVG? you didn't mention that. Uninstall it! Avast is free and much nicer to the launcher, use that instead. Or Microsoft Security Essentials

Right click the launcher logo and choose "run as admin", that should fix it if your on windows. If not, make a bug report on technic launcher bug section
